摘要： A fixing apparatus includes a board presenting a number of engaging portions and a post, and a casing for containing a data storage device. The casing includes a bottom wall defining a number of engaging holes, an end wall perpendicularly connected to the bottom wall, and a fixing member pivotably mounted to the end wall. Each engaging hole may engage and lock an engaging portion. The fixing member forms a sliding portion having a slanted outer surface, and a protrusion connected to the sliding portion and is pivoted to move the casing away from the post, until the second holes engage with the corresponding engaging portions, and the protrusion resists against the post.

Two latching members are mounted to two ends of the expansion slot, for fixing the expansion card. An aperture (126) and four holes (125) are defined in a wall (12) of the bracket. A slidable member (30) is movably attached to the wall. A retention member (50) is slidable relative to the slidable member in first direction and second directions generally perpendicular to each other. Four latches (513) are formed on the retention member. A switch member (70) is pivotally attached to the wall. When the switch member is driven outside from the aperture of the bracket by the storage device, the slidable member is urged by the switch member to move away from the switch member in the first direction, and the retention member is moved in the second direction to drive said latch through said hole for engaging in said aperture of the storage device.

摘要： A portable computer includes a base unit (70), and a display unit (10) pivotally connected to the base unit for movement between a closed position and an open position. A pair of hooks (11) is arranged on the display unit, each hook including a latching portion (113). A pair of catches (571) is arranged on the base unit and movable with respect to the hooks, each catch including a free end which snappingly engages the latching portion of a corresponding hook to attach the display unit to the base unit at the closed position. The latching portion of each hook defines an arcuate surface (574) along which each hook drives a corresponding catch to disengage from each other during movement of the display unit from a closed position to an open position.

The bracket includes an end plate, and a second side plate perpendicular to the end plate. One end of the first side plate is pivotably attached to a free end of the end plate of the bracket. The other end of the first plate includes a latch extending therefrom. The second side plate includes a latch extending from a free end thereof, to detachably engage with the latch of the first side plate. The fixing pins are attached to the first side plate and the second side plate to engage in the holes of the HDD.
