摘要： An exemplary fixing apparatus is for mounting a hard disk drive (HDD) having a plurality of holes defined in sidewalls and includes a first side plate, a bracket, and a plurality of fixing pins. The bracket includes an end plate, and a second side plate perpendicular to the end plate. One end of the first side plate is pivotably attached to a free end of the end plate of the bracket. The other end of the first plate includes a latch extending therefrom. The second side plate includes a latch extending from a free end thereof, to detachably engage with the latch of the first side plate. The fixing pins are attached to the first side plate and the second side plate to engage in the holes of the HDD.

摘要： An assembly includes a circuit board, a support perpendicular to the circuit board, and a mounting apparatus including a sliding bracket to accommodate an expansion card, a driving member pivotably mounted to the second support, and a clamping arm mounted to the sliding bracket. The sliding bracket is slidably mounted to the second support, and the driving member is fixed to the sliding bracket. The clamping arm is operable to press or release the expansion card. When the driving member is moved in a first direction, the sliding bracket is moved towards the circuit board, and the expansion card is moved to connect to the circuit board. When the driving member is moved in a second direction opposite to the first direction, the sliding bracket is moved away from the circuit board, and the expansion card disengages from the circuit board.

An aperture (126) and four holes (125) are defined in a wall (12) of the bracket. A slidable member (30) is movably attached to the wall. A retention member (50) is slidable relative to the slidable member in first direction and second directions generally perpendicular to each other. Four latches (513) are formed on the retention member. A switch member (70) is pivotally attached to the wall. When the switch member is driven outside from the aperture of the bracket by the storage device, the slidable member is urged by the switch member to move away from the switch member in the first direction, and the retention member is moved in the second direction to drive said latch through said hole for engaging in said aperture of the storage device.
