Abstract:
A guide or feeder chain for power and supply lines is provided. The chain includes chain links that comprise two spaced-apart link members that are disposed parallel to one another and are interconnected by crosspieces. The chain links have a reciprocal pivot angle delimited by abutment inserts. Exposed sides of the chain links are covered by cover plates secured to the crosspieces. End links of the chain are connected via connectors to a fixed connection at one end and to a movable consuming device at the other end. Some of the crosspieces, along a portion thereof disposed between the link members, have an enlarged cross-sectional configuration. The abutment inserts are interconnected via stems that extend into corresponding notches of the link members. A curved cover element is telescopically guided on one side of each cover plate. One end of each end link is embodied to connect to a link member, and the other end is provided with a pocket for the insertion of variously shaped connectors.
Abstract:
A feeder chain for the supply of all types of consumable material to units that move on tracks. The chain comprises a plurality of chain links and has a continuous inner space for feed lines, whereby the chain links have pivotably interconnected outer side pieces that are provided with stops for delimiting the mutual pivot angle. Each chain link is provided with two detachable crosspieces for interconnecting the outer side pieces thereof. The crosspieces are tubular pieces that are insertable via a force fit onto projections of the outer side pieces.

A guide or feeder chain for power and supply lines is provided. The chain includes chain links formed from two spaced-apart side pieces or link members that are disposed parallel to one another and are interconnected via crosspieces. Successive chain links are pivotably interconnected where they overlap one another. So that the chain links can slide on one another without becoming worn or generating noise, sliding skids are detachably secured to narrow sides of the side pieces or link members.
Abstract:
A plug-in contact element, which is fabricated from a sheet metal stamping for receiving a post-like plug-in contact pin having four sides has a basic contact member provided with a rear connecting region, a central base region and a front contact region linked together one behind another in a one piece construction along a longitudinal axis, the central base region having a box shaped configuration, and the front contact region including contact spring arms for contacting the sides of the plug-in contact pin. A rectangular sleeve is arranged around the central base region and the front contact region so that the contact spring arms are protectively disposed within the rectangualr sleeve. A polarization plate and a latching spring arm project outwardly from a sleeve top wall of the rectangular sleeve. A box cantilever spring is provided with first and second cantilever spring arms disposed in loading contact with outer surfaces of the contact spring arms to provide a contact force between the contact spring arms and the plug-in contact pin.
Abstract:
A guide or feeder chain for power and supply lines is provided. The chain includes chain links that each comprise two spaced-apart link members that are disposed parallel to one another and are interconnected by crosspieces. Link members of adjacent chain links, where they overlap, are held against one another via a pivot lug and a pivot hole. Disposed in each pivot axis is a locking pin that comprises a shaft, on one end of which is formed a head and on the other end of which are formed radially projecting dogs that are disposed opposite one another. Each link member, concentric to a pivot axis, has a locking hole which has radial grooves for receiving the dogs. The grooves, on one side of the link member, has undercuts that extend away from the groove in the circumferential direction of the locking hole for receiving the dogs.
Abstract:
A guide chain with supporting link chains including chain links which are connected by crosspieces. To limit the mutual pivot angle, each chain link is provided with slots which extend about a common pivot axis, with engaging studs of an adjacent chain link extending into the slots. In order to facilitate assembly and improve the support capability of the guide chain, each chain link is made as one piece, is provided at one end, on one side, with a disc-shaped plate in which are disposed the slots, and is provided at the other end, on the opposite side, with a cup, on the bottom of which are formed the engaging studs. The diameter of the plate is less than the diameter of the cup, so that the plate of one chain link can be placed into the cup of another chain link.
Abstract:
An energy conductor chain for guiding energy conduits (6), particularly cables or hoses, from a fixed attachment point to a movable consuming load, comprises a plurality of chain links (A to E) formed by two outer plates (2, 3) which are connected with each other by a divisible bar, the mutual angle of swing of the adjacent chain links being limited by stops (9). In order to create an energy conductor chain of plastic which consists of only a few individual parts and which can be opened and closed without special tools, each chain link (A to E) is formed of a U-shaped receiving part (1) which is as a single piece of stable form and whose legs form the two outer plates (2, 3), and a closure yoke (5) which can be connected to the free edges of the outer plates (2, 3). The yoke is pivoted to the outer plate (3) by a joint and can be locked by an elastic hook (12) to the other outer plate (2).
Abstract:
A protective cover system for use in connection with guiding paths of machine tools including a plurality of overlapping cover plates telescopically moved into and out of each other while each cover plate at its front end face rests on the guiding path and at the rear end rests on the next segmental cover plate. Between the individual cover plates there are arranged energy storing means the return force of which is zero in the intermediate position of said energy storing means whereas the return force of said energy storing means is at its maximum in the fully pulled-out or pushed-in position of said cover plates. Each energy storing means includes a cylinder with an inserted elastic body and a piston. Between the cylinders and the piston at least one cam segment is provided. Relative movement between the cylinder and the pertaining cam segment is brought about by fork-shaped rods linked with the arms of said fork-shaped rods to the front end faces of the cover plates.
