    摘要： The present invention provides a pressure equalizing compartment for building structures comprising: an inner member having oppositely facing inner and outer surfaces and having a top and bottom edge; spaced closure members contacting said outer surface of said inner member and extending vertically on the surface of the inner member, a horizontally disposed closure member disposed on the outer surface of the inner member, a space being defined between said spaced, closure members; a cavity forming means disposed in said space between said closure members; an outer member having oppositely facing inner and outer surfaces disposed substantially over said cavity forming means to form a pressure equalizing compartment, wherein the compartment having an air and moisture vent communicating to the outside environment. The present invention also provides exterior insulation and finish systems and building walls incorporating the pressure equalizing compartments and methods of installation.

    摘要： Disclosed is an apparatus and method for high speed tuning to a commanded frequency using a low noise high speed frequency synthesizer employing a learning sequence. A phase-locked loop (PLL) generates the commanded frequency. High speed tuning circuitry high speed tunes the PLL to the commanded frequency. Thereafter, the high speed tuning circuitry is substantially isolated from the PLL, while learning circuitry is employed to learn a correction signal which will enable subsequent more accurate high speed tuning to the commanded frequency.

    摘要： A loss-of-phase-lock indicator circuit is described which detects an out-limit voltage, whether steady or transitory. A pair of comparators, one for the high limit and the other for the low limit, are inserted in series between the tuning voltage and the sweep feedback amplifier, and are dc-coupled to the peak detector in the failure circuit. Additionally, a "dither" voltage is added in series with the phase detector, which ac voltage is large enough to swing the tuning voltage between limits at the loop amplifier output, but small enough to produce little effect on the output during phase lock.
