摘要: This invention focuses on the specialized catalyst and/or additive for lower FCCU gasoline and diesel blendstock component sulfur content. This invention utilizes a specified ratio of the transition metal oxides of cobalt and molybdenum to accomplish gasoline and diesel blendstock sulfur reduction. This is accomplished by minimizing sulfur compound formation in the FCCU riser. The cobalt and molybdenum oxides in the presence of H2S from cracked organic sulfur compounds are converted to metal sulfides. A portion of the overall sulfur reduction in the gasoline and diesel blendstock occurs emitted NOx also is reduced.

摘要: A method of this disclosure for removing oxygenates from a hydrocarbon process stream includes passing the hydrocarbon process stream through a vessel containing a mixed metal oxide having an amorphous non-crystalline structure and containing a metal in at least two oxidation states in a hydrate form, the hydrocarbon process stream having a first oxygenate content when entering the vessel and a second lower oxygenate content when exiting the vessel. The hydrocarbon stream may be a gas or a liquid stream.

摘要: The present invention relates to a process for converting a high-boiling hydrocarbon feedstock into lighter boiling hydrocarbon products, said lighter boiling hydrocarbon products being suitable as a feedstock for petrochemicals processes, said converting process comprising the following steps of: feeding a hydrocarbon feedstock having a boiling point of >350 deg Celsius to a cascade of hydrocracking unit(s), feeding the bottom stream of a hydrocracking unit as a feedstock for a subsequent hydrocracking unit, wherein the process conditions in each hydrocracking unit(s) are different from each other, in which the hydrocracking conditions from the first to the subsequent hydrocracking unit(s) increase from least severe to most severe, and processing the lighter boiling hydrocarbon products from each hydrocracking unit(s) as a feedstock for one or more petrochemicals processes.
