摘要： Disclosed are advantageous methods for patterning and/or mineralizing biomaterial surfaces. The techniques described are particularly useful for generating three-dimensional or contoured bioimplant materials with patterned surfaces or patterned, mineralized surfaces. Also provided are various methods of using the mineralized and/or patterned biomaterials in tissue engineering, such as bone tissue engineering, providing more control over ongoing biological processes, such as mineralization, growth factor release, cellular attachment and tissue growth.

摘要： A method of mapping the going conditions for a racecourse comprises surveying the racecourse soil conductivity over the course using soil conductivity measuring means and mapping the conductivity data produced by the conductivity measuring means according to the locations at which the conductivity data were obtained, so as to produce a map of the racecourse showing variations in soil conductivity. The racecourse is then sectioned along its length so as to produce a series of zones, wherein the variations shown in the soil conductivity map are utilized in choosing the sizes of the zones, the going condition in each zone is determined and a map of the racecourse displaying the going conditions along the racecourse is produced.

摘要： A method for creating a playlist uses audio clips (i.e. a segment or portion of predetermined or selectable audio content from an audio data file) for audio data file recognition. Attributes of an audio clip may be selectable by the user such as length of playing time, audio file portion, an audio file category, data in an ID3 tag or the like. A user interface allows the user to add identifying data representative of an audio data file associated with an audio clip to the playlist. The method is applicable to all types of devices that play back audio content from a multitude of stored audio content. In particular, the method includes playback of an audio clip from each one of a set of audio data files during the playing of the audio clip. During playback of a particular audio clip, the user may add the selection to the playlist. Particularly, identifying data representative of an audio file associated with the currently playing audio clip is added to the playlist in response to user input. A user interface allows, for example, a single button or control to add content to a default, currently selected, or selectable playlist.
