摘要： A gas barbeque grill is constructed in a pre-assembled condition and positioned in a shipping carton. A liquid propane (LP) tank is also positioned in the shipping carton at one end. Following purchase, the tank is removed from the shipping carton, without removing the grill, for filling prior to arrival at the user's home. The pre-assembled grill is thereafter removed from the shipping carton for set-up at the user's home including attachment of the filled tank to the grill for immediate operation of the grill, after set-up of same. The grill is removed from the shipping carton by placing spaced leg supports for the grill on a supporting surface and lifting the shipping carton up and away from the grill. Leg supports preferably constitute four spaced leg supports arranged in a rectangular pattern for supporting the grill. The grill is pivotally mounted proximate an upper end of two spaced leg supports along one side of and within the rectangular pattern of four spaced leg supports. This enables the grill to be suspended from the two spaced leg supports in a lower pivot position between the four leg supports during shipping. During set-up at the user's home, the grill is pivoted to an upper horizontal position and secured to the two other leg supports also proximate an upper end thereof in general horizontal alignment with the pivotal mounting on the other leg supports. The grill is thus maintained in a stable and secure horizontal position during operation and use.

摘要： A packaging system for a pre-assembled barbeque grill having a grill housing that is collapsed relative to spaced legs, includes a shipping carton surrounding the collapsed grill housing and associated leg supports. Within the carton, end pads are positioned at opposite ends of the leg supports between the leg supports and the carton. The end pads include associated cushion elements, integral with or separate from the end pads, which extend both longitudinally and laterally beyond the leg supports. The cushioned elements are constructed to absorb shock in all directions when the carton is moved, tipped over or dropped. The end pads include associated partitions and grill component holding areas for separating and holding various grill components used with the pre-assembled barbeque grill. To keep the grill housing from moving relative to the leg supports during shipping and handling, a grill housing supporting pad is provided and further may include associated cushion elements for absorbing shock during shipping and handling.

The heater includes an elongated burner assembly, an inner cone member, at least one emitter assembly and end plates which define a combustion chamber. The emitter assembly is configured to direct heat produced within the combustion chamber downwardly and outwardly to the floor to form the generally quadrangular zone of heat. A canopy is provided which directs heat heading upwardly and outwardly back downwardly toward the floor and toward the emitter assembly. A reflector pan is positioned below the burner and the emitter assembly and assists in directing the heat from the emitter assembly toward the floor. A blower assembly may be incorporated into the heater.

摘要： An improved ignition system for igniting combustible gas used in cooking and other types of devices. The ignition system includes an ignition mechanism having a spark generator that is electrically connected to two electrodes. When the spark generator is activated, a spark is produced between the electrodes which ignites combustible gas emanating from a burner. The ignition system also includes a lighter tube assembly having a lighter tube that extends from a main burner to secondary burners. The lighter tube is connected to a dual valve which provides gas flow to both the lighter tube and to the main burner. An ignition mechanism is provided which ignites the gas emanating from both the main burner and lighter tube, thus enabling the secondary burners to subsequently be ignited via the lighter tube.
