摘要： The present disclosure discloses a method and a device for generating an optimized result set, the method comprising receiving, by a computing unit, one or more queries from one or more users, extracting at least one keyword from each of the one or more queries, retrieving a Relative Information Measure (RIM) value associated with each of the at least one keyword, where the RIM value is determined using smoothened information gain for each of the at least one keyword, calculating a normalized value for each of the retrieved RIM value associated with each of the at least one keyword, determining a score for a plurality of solutions, based on the normalized value of each of the at least one keyword and the corresponding one or more keywords present in the plurality of solutions and generating a result set based on the score.
