The method can include the positioning one or more metal components in a mold, aligning a film for transferring an image from the film onto a surface of a plastic component, injecting a material into the mold to form the plastic component such that the metal component will be embedded in the plastic component and transferring the image from the film onto the surface of the plastic component that has the embedded metal component. The method can also include the removing the transferred image from the metal component if at least a portion of the transferred image adheres to the metal component.
