摘要： An image display system includes a camera part and an image display part. The image display part includes a user analyzer, a gamma corrector, a gamma voltage generator, and a display panel. The camera part takes a picture of a user and generates a user image signal. The user analyzer calculates the user's viewing direction based on the user image signal. The gamma corrector generates a correction gamma value based on the viewing direction. The gamma voltage generator generates a gamma voltage based on the correction gamma value, and the display panel displays an image corresponding to the gamma voltage. Accordingly, the image display system provides the image having an optimized gamma curve to the user in real time even without a separate input from the user.

摘要： An image display system includes a sensor part, a camera part, and an image display part. The sensor part is configured to sense a presence of a user and output a sensing signal. The camera part is configured to be controlled by the sensing signal, detect an eye direction of the user, and output a detecting signal. The image display part is configured to be operated in one of first, second, and third modes on the basis of the sensing signal and the detecting signal. The sensor part and the camera part are operated independently from the image display part. Power consumption becomes smaller in order of the first mode, the second mode, and the third mode.

摘要： A method for displaying a three-dimensional (3D) image in a display panel of a 3D display device is provided. The method includes generating M images corresponding to a maximum disparity in response to input two-dimensional (2D) images and disparity information of the respective 2D images. The 2D images include a left-side image and a right-side image. The method further includes selecting N images from among the M images, providing the selected N images to a display unit, and displaying the provided N images using the display panel.
