Abstract:
In a mobile communication device having segregated workspaces respectively associated with a plurality of users, methods and systems are provided for confirming an authorized user in an appropriate account including a corresponding one of the segregated workspaces. Start-up processing of the device includes taking a picture of an authorized image of the authorized user with the device camera. Current activities of the device by the user are monitored relative to a predetermined set of device activities and usage rules. Certain activities are indicative of a change in user of the device from the authorized user. Upon detection of such a change, the current image of the current user of the device is acquired with the device camera. The current image is compared with the authorized image and if the comparison fails to detect a match, the current user is prompted to initiate a log-in process.
Abstract:
Method and systems are disclosed for enabling a selectively settable message routing system for communicating a job message associated with an assigned job on a multifunction device to the device administrator. The system includes an administrator profile including a plurality of addressable message receiving devices for selective contact of the administrator to communicate the job message. A message routing processor recognized the job status relative to a set of predetermined factors corresponding to a stall or stoppage of workflow for the assigned job, wherein the processor routes the job message to selected ones of the message receiving devices in response to the recognized ones of the predetermined factors.
Abstract:
A system and method for customizing assessment print order when using an educator support system that generates personalized documents. The system/method includes generating a plurality of personalized documents to be printed, each document including a recipient identifier indicating a unique recipient to which the document will be distributed after printing, associating a position identifier with each recipient identifier, and arranging the plurality of personalized documents in a specified print order based in part on at least one of the position identifiers associated with each recipient identifier.
Abstract:
A method for detecting settle-down time in a space includes acquiring a sequence of frames capturing a select space from a first camera. The method includes determining an initial time for computing a duration it takes for an associated occupant to settle into a seat in the select space. The method includes determining one or more candidate frames from the sequence of frames where one or both of a sitting behavior and seat occupancy is observed at the seat. The method includes determining a final frame and a final time associated with the final frame from the one or more candidate frames. The method includes computing the settle-down time using the initial and the final times.

Abstract:
The disclosed embodiments provide a convenient way for users to access segregated work spaces on mobile devices. A game-like multi-level interactive approach is used to prompt users for input to verify their identity. Multiple identity verification attributes can be collected at each level of interaction. Authentication is achieved when a settable level of user identification confidence is reached. This can potentially reduce the amount of interaction needed as compared to requiring a user to type in a long, cryptic password.
