摘要： A lamination 10 for the stator of a universal motor has two poles 12 and a flux return path in the form of a ring 14 joining the two poles together. Each pole 12 has a pole face 16 defining there between a rotor space 20 for accommodating a rotor and each pole 12 has a neck portion 18 for receiving stator field windings. The width A of the ring 14, the length B of the pole 12, the radial distance C between the pole faces 16 and the width D of the neck portion 18 are selected according to formulae to achieve improved power output and output torque.

The motor has a shaft that extends into the gearbox housing through the opening to drive a worm gear of the gearbox. The control module has a PCB mounted to the gearbox and most of the PCB is accommodated in the opening of the gearbox housing. The PCB extends in a plane substantially parallel to the shaft.

摘要： A gearmotor assembly has a motor; and a gearbox attached to the motor. The gearbox has: a case having an opening, a cover for closing the opening, and a seal for sealing the cover to the case. The seal is a continuous loop disposed about the opening and having first and second axial end surfaces forming a first seal surface and a second seal surface. Two ridges are formed on each of the two seal surfaces, each of the ridges extending along the seal surface to form a continuous ridge. The two ridges of the first seal surface are spaced from each other and pressed by the case and the two ridges of the second seal surface are spaced from each other and pressed by the cover, whereby the seal is resiliently deformed between the case and the cover.

The motor has a motor shaft (22), a worm is fixed to or formed on a worm portion of the motor shaft, which is located in the gearbox. The worm potion of a motor shaft is supported by a bushing assembly. The bushing assembly comprises a sleeve (4) and a bushing (3) fixed inside the sleeve. The bushing comprises a plurality of axial ribs (31) arranged around its outer surface. The sleeve comprises a plurality of grooves (41) in its inner surface which engage the ribs on the bushing. The sleeve also comprises a plurality of ribs around its outer peripheral surface which engage with the gearbox. The motor shaft is strengthened by the bushing assembly, and a self-locking ability of motor assembly is improved.
