摘要: A seal for a vehicle having a transmission output shaft and a transmission output shaft housing is provided. The seal comprises a contact member at least partially surrounding and contacting the transmission output shaft, a support member coupled to the contact member, the support member at least partially surrounding the transmission output shaft and extending along the transmission output shaft, the support member coupled to the transmission output shaft housing, and an electrically-conductive surface overlying at least a portion of the contact member and at least a portion of the support member, the electrically-conductive surface contacting the transmission output shaft and the transmission output shaft housing.

摘要: A method and system for non-destructive evaluation of one or more welds of a stator includes activating the stator welds using an electrical current; recording radiometric thermal images of the welds over time; and analyzing a temperature-time profile of a weld to qualify the weld by one or more of estimating the size of the weld, determining if the temperature of the activated weld has exceeded a predetermined temperature at a predetermined time, or comparing the temperature-time profile of the weld to a reference. The stator may be configured as a bar wound stator. A mask may be applied to the stator to reduce reflections or emissions from non-weld thermal sources.

摘要: The invention relates to a sealing element at least comprising a housing area, at least one dynamically active sealing area and at least one statically active sealing area which at least partially interacts with the housing area. The invention is characterized in that the static sealing area is at least partially laminated with a hardenable material containing a predetermined number of friction-reducing elements.
