    Abstract: A Short Message Service (SMS) reading method and device are disclosed for providing security when authorizing SMS reading. After a reading request for reading an SMS is received from a third party application, when the SMS is an SMS including sensitive information, a determination as to whether a reading time in the reading request is within an access prohibition period of the SMS may be implemented, and when the reading time is determined to be within the access prohibition period, a response to the reading request may be withheld.

    Abstract: A method for a device to optimize memory includes: when a newly created process needs to be added into a control group, detecting whether a total resource value of memory resources occupied by all processes in the control group at a current moment reaches a critical resource value; if it is detected that the total resource value of memory resources occupied by all processes in the control group at the current moment reaches the critical resource value, cancelling restriction of the predetermined resource threshold on the control group and adding the newly created process into the control group that is not restricted by the predetermined resource threshold; and performing a swap-out operation on memory resources occupied by an idle process in the control group, so that the total resource value of memory resources occupied by all processes in the control group is less than the predetermined resource threshold.

    Abstract: Methods and devices are disclosed for delaying screen-on notification broadcasting. In one embodiment, a method for delaying screen-on notification broadcasting in a device comprises: detecting a display screen wakeup event for a display screen of the device, when the display screen wakeup event is detected and a current interface is a lock screen interface, intercepting a screen-on notification information broadcasted by an operating system of the device to applications running on the device, and when switching of the display screen from the lock screen interface into an unlocked interface after unlocking by a user is detected, sending the intercepted notification information to the applications.
