    摘要: An organic electroluminescent device capable of blue emission with a high color purity, and a display unit capable of full-color display with high color expressivity by using the organic electroluminescent device are provided. The organic electroluminescent device includes at least a hole transportation layer and a luminescent layer held between a lower electrode to become an anode and an upper electrode to become a cathode in a state of lamination in that order from the anode side. The luminescent layer is made of a spiro compound, and the hole transportation layer is made of triphenylamine tetramer. Furthermore, the display unit includes organic electroluminescent devices as blue-emitting elements arrayed for a plurality of pixels.

    摘要: A diphosphonic acid ester of formula [VII] or [VII′] and a diphosphonium salt of formula [VIII] or [VIII′] are provided: wherein R75, R76, R75′ and R76′ may be the same or different and independently represent an alkyl or alkenyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a cyclohexyl group or a phenyl group, R77, R78, R79 and R80 may be the same or different provided that at least three thereof are cyano groups and the others independently represent a hydrogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group or a halogen atom, R77′, R78′, R79′ and R80′ may be the same or different and independently represent a group selected from a hydrogen atom and a halogen atom provided that at least three thereof are fluorine atoms and X represents a halogen atom. These compounds are useful as synthetic intermediates for the preparation of luminescent bis(aminostyryl)benzene compounds.

    摘要: To provide compounds, which are suitable for use as an organic luminescent material capable of developing intense luminescence which is yellow to red, and a process for preparing in general and high efficiency. A bis(aminostyryl)benzene compound of the following general formula [I] is provided wherein R2 and R3 independently represent an unsubstituted aryl group, and R1 and R4 independently represent an aryl group, and R5 to R8, independently represent a cyano group or the like. A process for the preparation thereof is described wherein a 4-(N,N-diarylamino)benzaldehyde and a diphosphonic acid ester or diphosphonium are subjected to condensation reaction. Intermediates of the bis(aminostyryl)benzene compound are also described.

    摘要: An organic light-emitting material characterized in that it is used in a light emitting layer in a green light emitting element and represented by the following general formula (1): wherein: n1 is an integer of 0 to 3; R1 is an alkyl group having 10 carbon atoms or less; Ar1 is a monovalent group which is derived from monocyclic or fused-ring aromatic hydrocarbon having 20 carbon atoms or less, and which optionally has a substituent having 10 carbon atoms or less; and Ar2 is a divalent group which is derived from a ring assembly having 30 carbon atoms or less and being comprised of monocyclic or fused-ring aromatic hydrocarbon having 1 to 3 rings, and which optionally has a substituent having 4 carbon atoms or less. There can be provided an organic light-emitting material which has satisfactorily excellent light emission efficiency and high color purity as well as higher reliability and which is advantageously used to constitute a green light emitting layer, and a method for producing the same.

    摘要: An organic electroluminescent element is characterized by having a light emitting layer (503) containing a fluoranthene derivative and emitting green light. The fluoranthene derivative is introduced as a guest into the light emitting layer, and, by using an organic material having a fluorescence spectrum overlapping the absorption spectrum of the fluoranthene derivative, e.g., an arylanthracene derivative as a host, the organic electroluminescent element advantageously emits green light with satisfactorily excellent light emission efficiency and high color purity and has higher reliability.
