摘要： An object is to provide a communicating needle of simple construction which is attached to a medical infusion bag to connect two or more containers in fluid communication with each other. The communicating needle for connecting two or more containers to communicate includes a tip having an outlet opening formed thereon and a seal member integrally formed with the communicating needle to seal the outlet opening. The seal member readily comes off the communicating needle when acted upon by an external force, causing the outlet opening to open. The communicating needle may be covered by a seal body.

摘要： An object is to provide a communicating needle of simple construction which is attached to a medical infusion bag to connect two or more containers in fluid communication with each other. 摘要： A medical bag of multi-liquid missing type for one-shot operation for opening the weak seal portion, which makes it possible to obtain simultaneous opening of a blending medicine inlet.The medical bag 10 is formed of a soft film material and having a weak seal portion, which divides the space inside the bag into a plurality of compartments 20 and 22. A blending medicine inlet port 14 is arranged adjacent the one compartment 20. The inlet port 14 includes sealed compartments 36A, 36B and 36C for storage of the respective blending medicines. The inlet port 14 is usually closed by a peel film member 44 for preventing the blending medicines from being discharged. The peel film member 44 is strongly adhered to the opposed surface of the plastic film constructing the medical bag. An integral movement of the peelable member with respect to a widening displacement of the medial bag is obtained when the weak seal 18 is opened under a pressing force, so that the peelable member 44 is separated from the inlet port 14, resulting in a discharge of the blending medicines from the compartments 36A, 36B and 36C into the medical bag.

摘要： An apparatus for manually sending a sheet of paper to the sheet handling machine (i.e., a feeding mechanism inside of a copying machine or printer) equipped with an automatic sheet-feeding cassette. The sheet sending apparatus is composed of an upper chute and a lower chute articulated by gears. When the apparatus is used, the chutes make a flat angle to smoothly pass a sheet to the feed roller and the lower chute press down the stacked sheets of the sheet cassette. When the apparatus is not used, the chutes rotate and the lower chute leaves the feed roller. A sheet guide is attached at the lower end of the lower chute to prevent the sheet sliding on the chutes from falling in the sheet cassette, and the parts of the sheet guide corresponding to the separator of the sheet cassette is removed to allow natural flipping action of the sheet when the sheet is drawn out of the sheet cassette.

摘要： A heating device utilizing electromagnetic induction is provided with an induction heating unit that is opposed to a heating member and causes the heating member to heat through electromagnetic induction. The induction heating unit has an exciting coil for generating a magnetic field and a coil guide member on which the exciting coil is wound. The exciting coil is formed in at least two layers in such a manner that a first layer is formed on a circumferential surface of the coil guide member by winding a plurality of turns and a second layer is formed around and outside the first layer on the side opposite to the coil guide member, and winding of each of the second layer and following layers is started from a position close to a winding start position of the first layer.

摘要： A short ring is provided outside a support frame. In the short ring, eddy current is generated in such a direction as to cancel apart of a magnetic flux developed from the exciting coil when it is fed with current, which the part of the magnetic flux leaks to outside. When the eddy current is generated, a magnetic field is developed in such a direction as to cancel the magnetic field by the leaking flux, as taught by Fleming's law. The result is that unnecessary radiation by the leaking flux is prevented, and hence noise generation in other members or devices is suppressed.

摘要： A reservoir assembly can stably hold a bicarbonate solution. The reservoir assembly includes a gas-permeable plastic container holding a bicarbonate solution and a gas-impermeable casing for encasing the container. An effective way of detecting pinholes in the casing of the reservoir assembly is also provided. An oxygen absorber and an oxygen-detecting agent are placed in the space between the container and the casing. The oxygen absorber is of the type that does not affect the pH or the bicarbonate ion concentration of the solution and mainly contains a crosslinked polymer having carbon-carbon unsaturated bonds.

While the workpiece is being rotated by the rotating mechanism and pressed by the pressing mechanism, the workpiece is cut by a cutting mechanism. The cutting mechanism includes cutters for cutting opposite surfaces of the workpiece, and the cutters are positionally adjusted with respect to the workpiece based on positional information detected by a detector which has a probe held against the workpiece.

摘要： A fixing device is formed by using a heat generating roller having magnetism and electric conductive characteristics and a magnetizing coil opposed to the outer peripheral of the heat generating roller and generating heat on the heat generating roller by an electromagnetic induction. The magnetizing coil is formed in such a manner that 60 copper wires whose surfaces are insulated and have the outside diameter of 0.2 mm are bundled to form a bundle of wires and the bundle of wires is drawn in the direction of rotation axis of the heat generating roller and wound in the direction of a circumference of the heat generating roller. Further, the magnetizing coil is disposed so that the bundles of wires mutually come into close contact along the circumference of the heat generating roller to cover the upper half of the heat generating roller.
