    摘要: A protective panel having touch panel function is used for protecting a front surface of a display device that is disposed so as to be visually recognized from outside, and the protective panel is fitted in a panel fitting part of a casing provided with an opening such that an outer surface of the protective panel forms a flat plane identical with that of the casing with no gap formed therebetween. The protective panel includes: an upper electrode sheet having a decorative layer and upper electrodes provided thereon; and a lower electrode sheet having lower electrodes provided on an upper surface thereof, and the upper electrode sheet and the lower electrode sheet are disposed such that the respective electrodes thereof face with each other. On a lower surface of the upper electrode sheet, at a non-electrode part not provided with the upper electrodes, there is provided a height difference adjustment part that has a thickness substantially equal to each of those of the upper electrodes, and the height difference adjustment part is provided such that short circuit is prevented with the upper electrodes as well as with the lower electrodes.

Further, the protection panel main body is provided with a thermal compression head inserting space at a portion corresponding to a portion bonded with the FPC by thermal compression so that a thermal compression heater is allowed to be brought closer to the lower electrode sheet.

    摘要: A protection panel with a touch input function for an electronic instrument display window, which is excellent in reliability in an FPC connection. The panel is constituted such that the outer side face can be fitted into a panel fitting part of a casing having an aperture and kept without a gap to form a leveled plane and is configured to protect a display device provided under it externally visibly through a transparent window. A pin-equipped FPC (10) for taking out electric signals via through holes from the rear of the protective panel is characterized in that a metal pin fixation hole (10e) is bored on a film substrate (10f) and a circuit (10c) serving as a conductive part at a connection terminal (10a) of the FPC; a metal pin (14) having an axis part (14b) and a head part (14a) formed in a larger diameter than the outer diameter of the pin axis part is inserted into the metal pin fixation hole from the circuit side; a cover-lay film (10b) is stuck onto the circuit (10c) and the film substrate (10f) to cover the head part of the metal pin and also a conductive adhesive layer (21) is interposed between the circuit (10c) and the head part of the metal pin (14).

A decorating film is laminated on the surface of a transparent protective plate: the decorating film forms at least a window forming layer having a transparent window portion on the surface of a hard coating film at the transparent protective plate side and is formed with a low reflectance processed layer on the opposite surface thereof: and a low reflectance processed layer is formed on the rear surface of the transparent protective plate. Or, a decorating film is laminated on a surface of an optical isotropic transparent protective plate being interposed by a polarizing plate, the decorating film forms at least a window forming layer having a transparent window portion on the surface of the hard coating film at the transparent protective plate side.
