    摘要: A light-transmissible keycap and the manufacturing method thereof are provided. The light-transmissible keycap has multiple light-transmissible symbol areas, and each light-transmissible symbol area has at least one character assigned with a color. Each light-transmissible symbol area is covered with only one light-transmissible color layer. Thus, when an external light is emitted from a light source beneath the keycap, the external light will only pass through one light-transmissible color layer covering that light-transmissible symbol area, and not pass through the light-transmissible color layer covering the other light-transmissible symbol area. Therefore, a bleeding problem due to multiple light-transmissible color layers overlapped and covering the same light-transmissible symbol area is avoided.

    摘要: A veneer configured to be secured to a backlit button of a control device may include a plate portion. The plate portion may have one or more laser-cut indicia defined therethrough, may have laser-cut rounded corners, and may have angularly offset outer edges that may be defined during an embossing process. The laser-cut indicia may be representative of a command for controlling an electrical load. The indicia may include an alphanumeric character, an icon, or the like, may define one or more substantially zero-radius corners, and may define respective inner surfaces that are substantially perpendicular to an outer surface of the plate portion. A laser-cut alphanumeric character may have variable (e.g., continuously variable) line width. The plate portion may define a rib that suspends a floating portion of the alphanumeric character relative to an open portion. The rib may define a thickness that does not exceed 0.003 inches.

    摘要: An invisible, light-transmissive display system with a light resistant material is provided. The light resistant material has a first side and a second side. Substantially invisible holes penetrate between the first surface and the second surface in a predetermined light-transmissive display pattern. The second surface is exposed to a side curing light that is substantially parallel to the second surface at the invisible holes thereadjacent. A light-conducting curable filler is applied into the invisible holes from the first surface. Surfaces of the light-conducting curable filler are cured in the invisible holes at the second surface with the side curing light. The remaining curable filler in the invisible holes is cured.

    摘要: A switch module is provided with a circuit substrate that has a metal dome sheet mounted on a surface thereof which is arranged in opposition to a key substrate, a light guiding sheet that is arranged between the key substrate and the circuit substrate, an LED, and a reflector that makes the light emitted from the LED incident into the light guiding sheet from an end thereof, wherein key parts are able to be illuminated by the switch module. At an inner side of the reflector in the light guiding sheet, there is formed a printed pattern of white ink for scattering light on an optical path of the light which transmits through a first surface from the vicinity of an edge portion of the reflector.
