    摘要: An object of this invention is to provide a printhead tolerant of switching noise occurred when concurrently driving plural printing elements, a head cartridge using the printhead, and a printing apparatus. To achieve this object, a printhead includes plural printing elements and plural driving elements for driving the plural printing elements, and prints by these printing elements. The printhead includes the following arrangement. More specifically, the printhead includes a shift register which receives print data in synchronism with a clock signal, and a latch circuit which latches the print data input to the shift register in synchronism with a latch signal. The printhead further includes a restriction circuit which restricts input of the print data and clock signal to the shift register and input of the latch signal to the latch circuit in synchronism with input of an enable signal for driving the plural driving elements.

    摘要: A printhead tolerant of switching noise that occurs when concurrently driving plural printing elements, a head cartridge using the printhead, and a printing apparatus can be provided. The printhead includes plural printing elements and plural driving elements for driving the plural printing elements, and prints using these printing elements.     摘要: The present invention provides a liquid ejection head for which the peeling of an orifice plate from a substrate seldom occurs, even in a structure such that the walls that define each energy application chamber are narrowed toward a ejection port. The walls that define a first pressure chamber are inclined inward within the first pressure chamber, so that the first pressure chamber is narrowed, toward an ejection port, along a direction perpendicular to the heater formation face on which heaters are arranged. Further, the walls that define each ink flow path are inclined in the ink ejection direction. Furthermore, the angle at which the walls that define the ink flow path are inclined relative to the ink ejection direction is smaller than the angle at which the walls that define the first pressure chamber are inclined inward, within the first pressure chamber.

    摘要: In a flexible wiring board for use in, for example, a liquid discharge head, wires disposed on a substrate in parallel are covered with a film material. The flexible wiring board is bendable towards one of a front surface side and a back surface side of the substrate and includes a bending line. The bending line is formed by bending the flexible wiring board along a bending direction crossing a longitudinal direction of the wires. The bending line contains the wires. Both ends of the flexible wiring board in the bending direction are located on the bending line. A distance between one of the wires located closest to one end of the flexible wiring board and the one end is larger on the bending line than in another part of the flexible wiring board. Accordingly, even if the flexible wiring board is bent at a small bend radius, peeling does not easily occur between a base film and a cover film.

An inkjet head includes at least two or more types of nozzle rows that eject different amounts of ink. When A is the cross section, with respect to an ink supplying direction, of an ink supply path from each ejection orifice to a supply port and L is the length of the ink supply path, the value of A/L differs between the two or more types of nozzle rows. The nozzle row of which the value of A/L is small is disposed outside an area between the nozzle rows that eject a largest amount of ink and that are arranged next to each other.
