摘要: This invention relates to a technology for preventing leakage of liquid from gel (70). The electrode chip (10) comprises a cup-like support (20) including a cup part (210), and a sheet-like support (30) attached with an electrode layer (40). The gel (70) in the cup part (210) delivers liquid (700) containing water confined at the time of crosslinking. The liquid (700) moves by capillarity from the gel (70) side through a narrow gap between the outer flange (220) of the cup-like support (20) and the outside part (310o) of the sheet-like support (30) in a direction away from the gel (70). Since a groove (80) exists in the vicinity of the cup part (210) and the gap is large at that part, capillarity is broken thereat.

摘要: There is provided an electrode device for iontophoresis capable of retaining a drug in a gel state with a force just enough so as not to disturb the treatment. In order to retain the gel (70), a sheet member (50) composed of a nonwoven fabric is laminated on a base film (20) including an electrode layer (30) so as to be integrated with the base film (20). The sheet member (50) has a property for allowing the gel (70) to permeate therein. Owing to this feature, the gel (70) loaded on the sheet member (50) is retained thereon with at least a part of the gel (70) permeated therein.

摘要: The invention provides an electrode device that prevents disconnection of an electrode layer effectively by reducing stress at the time when a recess is formed. An electrode device (10) has a protrusion (70), which projects upward, in the part of an outward flange section (110f), other than a recess (60) formed by molding. The protrusion (70) is arranged so as to surround an outer periphery of the recess (60). When the recess (60) is cold-pressed, the protrusion (70) prevents warp (warp waving along a peripheral direction) in the outward flange section (110f) from occurring. Consequently, the protrusion (70) also eases warp of an electrode layer (30) extending on the outward flange section (110f) and prevents disconnection of the electrode layer (30).

摘要: It is an object of the invention to prevent not only cracking but also blocking of an electrode layer 20 and an electrically insulating layer 30, particularly the electrically insulating layer 30, which is formed on a base film 10. An electrode apparatus comprises a base film 10 for defining a recess 50 at the inner periphery of a bending part 500, and an electrode layer 20 and an electrically insulating layer 30 which are pattern formed on the base film 10. The electrode layer 20 crosses the bending part 500 from the inside of the recess 50 to the outside. The electrically insulating layer 30 covers the upper part of the electrode layer 20 in the vicinity of the bending part 500. A resin composition obtained by admixing a low Tg resin having a glass transition temperature equal to 25 degrees C. or lower and a high Tg resin having a higher glass transition temperature (for example, 40 degrees C. or higher) than that of the low Tg resin is used as a dielectric of the electrically insulating layer 30.

摘要: There is provided an electrode structure in which cracks are hardly generated in the bending processed portions, in particular, in the electrode layer and the insulating layer. The electrode structure comprises a support (3) having bending processed portions (4), an electrode layer (1) formed on the support so as to pass over the bending processed portions (4), and an insulating layer (2) formed on the electrode layer (1) passing over the bending processed portions (4). The glass transition temperature of the dielectric material forming the insulating layer (2) is made to be 25° C. or below. The electrode layer (1) includes at least one material belonging to the group consisting of silver, silver chloride and carbon, and in particular, a terminal portion (5) of the electrode layer (1) passing over the bending processed portions (4) is formed of a paste containing carbon as the main component.

摘要: An iontophoresis device, which can ensure the long-term stability of drugs and which can be easily assembled when used, is provided. A donor electrode-printed portion (6) is placed on one side of a backing layer (4), and a reference electrode-printed portion (7) is placed on the other side. Both printed parts are connected to a current generating part (Ia) through a connector (Id). A drug support film (14) is joined to a drug-dissolving portion (11), and a cup-like shaped protective cover (12), which covers the drug support film (14), is removed before the device is used. The exposed drug support film (14) is attached to the skin of a user, and the device is driven by turning on a power supply of the current-generating portion (Ia).
