Abstract:
A sheet material feeding apparatus has a rotatable pressure plate for stacking sheet materials, a pickup roller for feeding the sheet material stacked on the pressure plate, a feed roller for feeding the sheet materials fed by the pickup roller and a separation roller contactable with the feed roller. A registration roller corrects oblique feeding of the sheet material by being abutted against the separated sheet material by the feeding roller and the separation roller, and after the registration roller rotates in synchronism with the pickup roller and the feed roller to start feeding the sheet material, pressure of the pressure plate against the pickup roller is released, and thereafter the feed roller and the separation roller are spaced apart from one another.
Abstract:
A sheet material feeding apparatus includes feeding means for contacting to the sheet material which is in a stand-by state and picking the sheet material up; separating means for press-contacting to the sheet material picked up by the feeding means to single out the sheet material; registration means for stopping the sheet material which is picked up by the feeding means and singled out by the separating means and temporarily retaining the sheet material with a leading end in abutment thereto; and releasing means for releasing the sheet material from a press-contact state provided by the separating means and the feeding means, after the registration means and the feeding means start refeeding the sheet material by releasing the temporay retaining of the registration means.
Abstract:
A graphic that indicates a switch is formed on a panel at a location corresponding to a first light guide element. A character to be displayed via the panel is formed on a second light guide element. The first light guide element is supported on a substrate, in close contact with an electrode, via a sheet-like shaped attaching member, and the second light guide element is supported by a base material without being supported on the substrate.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes cap members for capping ejection outlets of an ejection portions for ejecting liquid to a recording material; pump diviec including suction inlets in fluid communication within the cap members; discharging outlets for discharging the liquid; cylinder member including a plurality of cylinders having the suction inlets and the discharging outlets, respectively; a seal member for dividing inner space in the cylinder divice into the cylinders; and a plurality of pistons reciprocable in the spaces in contact with the inner surfaces of the cylinders to produce pressure change in the inner spaces; wherein in each of the cylinders, the suction inlet is disposed more away from seal member than the discharging outlet.
Abstract:
A touch panel includes a ring-like shaped light-transmissive portion. A ring-shaped diffusion surface is formed on the bottom surface of a light guide element. The ring-like shape includes a second region provided at a location corresponding to two light sources adjacent to a first region corresponding to one light source. A distance from a location of the ring-shaped light-transmissive portion to a periphery of the ring close to the light source is greater in the second region than in the first region. Light emitted from the light source and incident to the light guide element is diffusion-reflected on the diffusion surface and a part of the diffusion-reflected light illuminates the light-transmissive portion.
Abstract:
An ink ribbon cassette includes a supply side ribbon spool, a take-up side ribbon spool, a cassette case containing therein the supply side and take-up side ribbon spools and pivotably supporting at least the take-up side ribbon spool through a lever member and having an opening through which an outside feed tooth may mesh with the take-up side ribbon spool. A support portion provided in the opening for contacting the peripheral surface of the take-up side ribbon spool prevents the take-up side ribbon spool from protruding outwardly, and a biasing device impart a rotational force to the lever member so that the take-up side ribbon spool is urged against the support portion.
Abstract:
On a bottom surface of a light guide element, a reflection portion is formed in a first region thereof, which is close to a light source, and a first diffusion surface is formed in a second region of the bottom surface of the light guide element, which is a region distant from the light source. A light-incident side of the light guide element is a non-diffusion surface. Sides other than the light-incident side are second diffusion surfaces. Light that has been emitted from the light source and incident to the light guide element via the light-incident side is totally reflected and is then guided to the first and the second diffusion surfaces and a part of diffusion-reflected light illuminates the light-transmissive portion of the panel.
Abstract:
A plurality of touch switches includes a first switch and a second switch provided adjacent to each other. A distance between an electrode and a surface of a cover at the location of the first switch is smaller than a distance between an electrode and the surface of the cover at the location of the second switch.
