    摘要: An automatic focusing projector has a reflector which includes a semispherical mirror and a semielliptical mirror in combination, and a contrast chart having a contrast pattern associated with the reflector. The first focal point of the semielliptical mirror is identical to the center of the semispherical mirror. The contrast pattern is located between the first and second focal points of the semielliptical mirror. A light source is provided in the vicinity of the first focal point of the semielliptical mirror. The light source can be a white light source, and a colored filter can be positioned forwardly of a projecting lens which forms part of the projector in order to pass light having a wavelength region of low luminosity in which a human eye is virtually insensitive.

    摘要: An automatic focusing projector has a reflector which includes a semispherical mirror and a semielliptical mirror in combination, and a contrast chart having a contrast pattern associated with the reflector. The first focal point of the semielliptical mirror is identical to the center of the semispherical mirror. The contrast pattern is located between the first and second focal points of the semielliptical mirror. A light source is provided in the vicinity of the first focal point of the semielliptical mirror. The light source can be a white light source, and a colored filter can be positioned forwardly of a projecting lens which forms part of the projector in order to pass light having a wavelength region of low luminosity in which a human eye is virtually insensitive.

    摘要: An auxiliary light source for a passive focus detector, such as would be used for automatic focusing. A projection lens is inclined with respect to the imaging lens and projects a patterned image from a surface inclined with respect to the projection lens. Preferably the patterned image is projected to lie along the axis of the imaging lens so that a sharp illumination pattern is formed at all distances along that axis. Preferably the pattern is such that a higher intensity portion is imaged at a far distance and a lower intensity portion is imaged at a near distance.

    摘要: An auxiliary light source for a passive focus detector, such as would be used for automatic focusing. A projection lens is inclined with respect to the imaging lens and projects a patterned image from a surface inclined with respect to the projection lens. Preferably the patterned image is projected to lie along the axis of the imaging lens so that a sharp illumination pattern is formed at all distances along that axis. Preferably the pattern is such that a higher intensity portion is imaged at a far distance and a lower intensity portion is imaged at a near distance.

    摘要: A projector in which light emitted from a light source is made incident upon a transmission type picture panel and is projected onto a screen through a projection lens system having a condenser lens and an imaging lens. The condenser lens and the imaging lens are relatively movable with respect to the transmission type picture panel in an optical axis direction. Thus, when a projection distance from the projection lens system to the screen is varied, both the condenser lens and the imaging lens are relatively moved, with respect to the transmission type picture panel, to adjust a focus of the emitted light on the screen. A focusing method for the projector is also provided.

    摘要: A pupil conjugate-coupling device in a projecting optical system includes a first projection lens system which forms an intermediate image of an image indicating element, a second projection lens system which projects the intermediate image onto a screen, said first and second projection lens systems having optical axes intersecting at a predetermined angle, and an optical element having structural periodicity positioned between the first and second projection lens systems. The optical element has a positive power and a prism function for deflecting a bundle of rays transmitted through the first projection lens system towards the optical axis of the second projection lens system to thereby couple pupils of the first and second projection lens systems. The optical element is deviated from an intermediate image forming position by a predetermined offset in the optical axis direction thereof.
