摘要: A binarization circuit includes a comparator that outputs a signal according to a differential voltage between the input and reference voltages. The first charging-discharging circuit generates a first voltage. The second charging-discharging circuit generates a second voltage. The control circuit compares the differential voltage with the threshold voltage, and switches between turn-on and turn-off of the second charging-discharging circuit based on a difference between the differential voltage and the threshold voltage. A sum of the reference and first voltages of the preceding clock is supplied to the comparator when the second charging-discharging circuit is turned off. A sum of the reference and the first and second voltages of the preceding clock is supplied to the comparator when the second charging-discharging circuit is turned on.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a binarization circuit includes a comparator, first and second charging-discharging circuits, and a control circuit. The comparator compares an input voltage with a reference voltage and outputs a signal in accordance with a differential voltage between the input voltage and the reference voltage. The first charging-discharging circuit generates a first voltage by multiplying the differential voltage by a first charge-discharge factor. The second charging-discharging circuit generates a second voltage by multiplying a difference between the differential voltage and a threshold voltage by a second charge-discharge factor greater than the first charge-discharge factor. The control circuit compares the differential voltage with the threshold voltage, and switches between turn-on and turn-off of the second charging-discharging circuit based on a difference between the differential voltage and the threshold voltage. A sum of the reference voltage of a preceding clock and the first voltage of the preceding clock is supplied to the comparator when the second charging-discharging circuit is turned off. A sum of the reference voltage of the preceding clock, the first voltage of the preceding clock, and the second voltage of the preceding clock is supplied to the comparator when the second charging-discharging circuit is turned on.

摘要: A pickup for accessing moving storage media carrying substantially parallel information tracks has a carrier, an actuator with a lens and suspension wires extending from the rear of the carrier and joining the carrier and the actuator. The actuator is movable in the focus direction and in a tracking direction and has a substantially rectangular flat board carrying the lens and a counter weight. The flat board is arranged orthogonal to a focus direction and carries tracking and focus coils. The pickup has a magnet configuration connected to the carrier with at least two tracking magnets, which are arranged in the tracking direction at opposite sides of the flat board and extend orthogonal to the focus direction above and/or under the flat board, and with at least two focus magnets, which are arranged in front of and behind the flat board and extend orthogonal to the direction of the tracks. According to the invention, the lens is arranged asymmetrically in reference to an axis through a center of the flat board parallel to the direction of the tracks while the lens and the counter weight are symmetrically arranged in reference to the center of the flat board.

摘要: The invention relates to a suspension arm actuator for an optical scanning device, comprising a suspension arm designed as a two-arm lever and mounted between the lever arms such that it can be pivoted about an axis extending perpendicularly thereto. On its end side, one of the lever arms supports a scanning head and comprises an articulated region, preferably an elastically bendable region, for a motion of the scanning head in focusing direction and perpendicular in relation to the pivot plane of the suspension arm. The other lever arm is provided with a component of a magnetic drive for a swivel motion about the axis. In addition, the suspension arm actuator comprises a magnetic drive for moving the optical head in focusing direction. As a result, the suspension arm is designed such that the latter's lever arm that supports the scanning head is designed simply and without any further functional elements and is, therefore, reduced in weight. To achieve this, the magnetic drive for moving the optical head in focusing direction is allocated to the lever arm (II) which comprises a component of the magnetic drive for the swivel motion about the axis. The coils for the magnetic drives are, in particular, designed as printed coils.
