Disclosed are a method of manufacturing a synthetic resin part integrally formed with metal members, including the steps of: integrally forming a plurality of metal member sets through coupling portions, each of the metal member sets including a plurality of coupled together metal members; inserting the metal member sets into the molding dies of a forming machine; injecting synthetic resin for molding into the molding die, and forming a synthetic resin part integrally formed with metal members in sequence to form a synthetic resin part continuum where a plurality of synthetic resin parts are connected; and cutting off the coupling portions to manufacture the plurality of synthetic resin parts, and a synthetic resin part manufactured according to the above-mentioned manufacturing method. With this manufacturing method, the assembling accuracy of the synthetic resin part to metal members is enhanced, there is no danger of unnecessary contact between metal members, and the time for assembling metal members is saved to contribute to cost reduction.

A mounting structure for a vanity mirror includes two screw penetration holes formed in a lamp section of the vanity mirror; positive and negative contacts for supplying a light source in the lamp section with electricity, the positive and negative contacts being formed with through holes and being disposed such that each of the through holes formed in the positive and negative contacts is aligned with a corresponding one of the screw penetration holes of the lamp section; two contacts provided on a sun visor and connected to a power source, the sun visor-side contacts being formed with through holes and being positioned such that each of the through holes of the sun visor-side contacts is aligned with a corresponding one of the screw holes in bosses of the sun visor which are located at positions corresponding to the screw penetration holes of the lamp section; and two mounting screws made of a conductive material which are passed through the through holes of the contacts of the lamp section, the screw penetration holes of the vanity mirror and the through holes of the contacts on the sun visor, in this order, and are screwed to the screw holes in the sun visor, whereby the contacts of the lamp section and the contacts on the sun visors are electrically connected with each other through the mounting screws. A vanity mirror for mounting in a vehicle sun visor including a housing and an external connector provided in the sun visor, a lamp section including a tubular electric lamp provided in a recess formed in the housing and an internal connector provided in the housing. Two contact members for supporting the bases on both sides of the electric lamp are provided and the end of one extremity of these contact members are formed into electric lamp supporting portions. The other end of at least one of these contact members is made into a connecting piece for connecting the external connector thereto. Also, the internal connector is formed by placing a connecting piece connected to the other end of the other contact member in parallel with the connecting piece of the first contact. With this construction use of vehicle as a ground is avoided so that the supporting structure of the mirror with the lamp may be formed of a nonmetallic lightweight material. Also, with the internal connector, complex wiring and body manufacture are avoided, simplifying the work required to mount the mirror with the lamp to the vehicle body.
