    摘要: Herein is revealed a helical antenna apparatus wherein the direction of beam radiation hardly changes even if the frequency in use changes. Two helical antennas which are wound with two conductive wires spirally, respectively, at equal intervals with a specified pitch .alpha. in the form of a cylinder are disposed along the length of the helical antennas so that the axes thereof substantially coincide with each other. By determining the lengths of the feeders of the respective helical antennas appropriately in order to set the phase of supplied power, it is possible to form the beam of signals radiated into space in the shape of conical beam having a directivity oriented obliquely upward. Additionally, it is possible to obtain the conical beam in which the direction of beam radiation does not change even if the frequency in use is changed.

    摘要: An earth station antenna is employed for telecommunicating with a satellite in combination with an automatic tracking apparatus. The antenna is a dual reflector antenna which comprises a main reflector, a sub-reflector and a primary radiator, and the used frequency band of the antenna is at least 1.8 octaves. A parameter t of the antenna, defined by a configuration of the primary radiator is less than 0.3 at the lowest operating frequency. The phase center of the primary radiator, at a low frequency within the operating frequency range, is made to correspond with the focus of the sub-reflector.The above parameter t is defined by: ##EQU1## where: .lambda.: wavelength in free space,D.sub.h : aperture diameter of the primary radiator,L.sub.h : center axial length from the radiator apex to the radiator aperture plane, andL.sub.s : length from the radiator aperture plane to the bottom surface of the sub-reflector.

    摘要: An array antenna mounted on a spacecraft in its stowed state. After the spacecraft is launched in a predetermined position or on a predetermined orbit, the array antenna is extended to a flat plate form or a curved surface form. The array antenna has a structure that a plurality of subarrays are connected by plate springs or the like. The array antenna is extended in a kite form by using cables for connecting a spacecraft body and the subarrays or is extended by using an extension pole mounted on the spacecraft body. Each subarray includes a variable phase shifter to switch a shape and a direction of a directivity beam. A feeder line, a power supply line, a control signal line and the like connect the spacecraft body and each subarray.

    摘要: An antenna system includes a reflector and a primary and a subsidiary array antenna which are disposed in front of an aperture of the reflector so as to be positioned back-to-back with each other. An electric power which is supplied to the primary array antenna is also partly supplied to the subsidiary array antenna after it has been controlled in both phase and amplitude in order that a radiant beam from the subsidiary array antenna compensates for that portion of a secondary radiant beam from the reflector which is blocked by the primary array antenna. For example, a transmission source is connected to the primary array antenna through a coupler and a distributor while the coupler is connected to the subsidiary array antenna through a phase and an amplitude regulator and a distributor. The source may also be connected via the distributor to the primary array antenna formed of a plurality of radiating elements which are respectively connected to corresponding radiating elements of the subsidiary array antenna through couplers and delay lines or feeder lines.
