    摘要: An over-the-air (OTA) measurement system for testing a device under test, with a plurality of feed antennas, a test location for the device under test, and a reflector array with a main reflector and a sub-reflector. The plurality of feed antennas face the sub-reflector. The reflector array is located such that a signal path is established between the plurality of feed antennas and the test location via the sub-reflector and the main reflector. The sub-reflector has at least one focal point. The plurality of feed antennas include a first feed antenna and at least one second feed antenna. The first feed antenna is associated with the focal point of the sub-reflector. The at least one second feed antenna is located offset from the focal point of the sub-reflector. Further, a method of testing a device under test over-the-air is described.

    摘要: A broadband satellite antenna for producing a dual-band multiple beam coverage in transmission and reception based on an offset dual-optics configuration that includes a single main parabolic reflector, a hyperbolic sub-reflector, a first transmitting Multiple-Feed-per-Beam feed system, and a second receiving Multiple-Feed-per-Beam feed system. The sub-reflector surface is a Frequency Selective Surface configured to transmit any electromagnetic signals in the higher frequency band and to reflect any electromagnetic signals in the lower frequency band. The Multiple-Feed-per-Beam feed systems are located at the main focal point FMO and at the first sub-reflector real focal point FSreal. The eccentricity e of the hyperbolic sub-reflector depends on a ratio between a preset lower frequency fL in the lower frequency band BL and a preset higher frequency fH in the higher frequency band BH. The first transmitting Multiple-Feed-per-Beam feed system and the second receiving Multiple-Feed-per-Beam feed system are geometrical scaled versions of each other.

    摘要: A point-to-multipoint communications system. The system uses an antenna to generate a single beam having independently steerable, narrow lobes. The phase array and amplitude array distributions used to form the lobes are controlled so that the lobes track and provide full duplex communication links with two or more RF terminals in two or more remote locations. In certain embodiments the dual lobe beam is generated from a fixed, ground-based location, and in other embodiments the single beam is generated from an airborne mobile platform, a mobile land vehicle, or a marine vessel. The various embodiments all enable one, two or more full duplex communication links to be established and maintained with a single beam.

A reflector 72 having frequency selective surface 74 coupled to the support structure 80 reflects the second downlink signal and passes the first downlink signal therethrough.     摘要: The present invention relates generally to the field of reflector-type antennas based on the offset Gregorian design having a substantially paraboloidal-shaped primary reflector and a substantially ellipsoidal secondary reflector displaced from the optical axis of the primary reflector. The first focus of the secondary reflector is substantially coincident with the focus of the primary reflector and a feed or detector is placed substantially at the second focus of the secondary reflector. A partially open shroud placed between the primary reflector and the secondary reflector is shown to result in reduced ground interference and improved antenna efficiency and sensitivity.

    摘要: A multi-band reflector antenna having a main reflector, a sub reflector, a first feed and a second feed.
