摘要： In an optical disc apparatus, a metallic member forming an optical pickup, such as a bottom cover member of the optical pickup, has a protrusion in an integral form on the portion of the metallic member that is opposed to a plane of a flexible printed-wiring board, and the optical pickup is constructed so that when it comes into contact with an opposed face of the flexible printed-wiring board, the optical pickup brings a front end of the protrusion into contact with the opposed face.

摘要： A tape loading mechanism for a video cassette recording apparatus in which a magnetic tape held in the cassette is withdrawn therefrom by a tape loading arm and is wound around a rotary cylinder. During this time, the cassette is fixed on the upper surface of a chassis having a cam bore, which is driven by a rotary arm in which a pin inserted in the cam bore is set up. This cam bore is provided with a first cam surface having a radius of curvature equal to that of a locus of a turning movement of the pin, a second cam surface formed continuously from the first cam surface and having a radius of curvature different from that of a locus of a turning movement of the pin, and a third cam surface formed continuously from the second cam surface and having a radius of curvature equal to that of a locus of a turning movement of the pin. Accordingly, the movement of the cassette is started at a predetermined period of time after the movement of the tape loading arm has been started, and it is completed before the movement of the tape loading arm has been completed.

摘要： An optical disk apparatus of low consumption of electric power, wherein heat generation is suppressed within a stepping motor for use of drive of a pickup, as one of the heat generation sources, comprises: a pickup 3 for irradiating a laser light upon an optical disk by means of a laser diode; a disk motor for rotating the optical disk mounted thereon; a stepping motor 5 for moving the pickup in the disk radial direction; and a system controller 6 for controlling driving current of the laser diode and rotation speed of the disk motor, as well as, conducting the position control on the pickup through the stepping motor, wherein the stepping motor has a temperature sensor 31 within an inside thereof, and the current to be supplied to the stepping motor is set to be within a predetermined range, so as to control the rotation speed thereof, so that the temperature within an inside is suppressed from increasing, depending upon the temperature detected.
