摘要： A recessed portion recessed downwardly is provided on an upper face of a fuel tank supported in a crossing manner on a main frame extending rearwardly from a head pipe, and a tank pocket is accommodated in the recessed portion. The tank pocket includes a body case open upwardly, and a lid for opening and closing the opening of the body case. A popup lever provided at a front portion of the lid is popped up by a popup mechanism when the popup lever is pushed downwardly by a predetermined amount. Front portions of the lid and the body case are engaged with each other by an engaging projection and a latch, and the engagement is maintained even if the popup lever is popped up. In order to open the lid, two-stage operations are required without fail. Inadvertent opening of the lid can be blocked.

摘要： A saddle-type vehicle is provided with an impact member for deflecting a front wheel sideways in the event of a collision. The saddle-type vehicle includes a body frame having a head pipe for rotatably supporting a steering shaft for the front wheel, main frames extending rearwards from the head pipe, and an engine operatively mounted to the main frames. The impact member is disposed in front of a lower portion of the engine. The impact member includes a support part, which extends forwardly from the engine, and a load-receiving deflector plate mounted to the support part and which is inclined away from a vehicle width direction.

摘要： A seat height adjustment apparatus includes a stepped portion provided on a bottom plate of a seat and formed in a stepped configuration, an adjust member removably attached to the stepped portion and having a lower face placed on a seat rail for adjusting the height between the seat rail and the seat, and vehicle body side fixing members provided on the seat rail for abutting with an abutting portion to fix the adjust member. Upon seat height adjustment, adjustment of the seat height can be carried out simply only by replacing the adjust member to an arbitrary stage of the stepped portion. Further, since the seat height adjustment apparatus is formed from the three parts of the stepped portion, adjust member and vehicle body side fixing member, the number of parts is reduced.
