    摘要: A cleaning device for an electrophotographic image forming apparatus includes a primary cleaning brush, a collecting roller, and a blade. The primary cleaning brush is configured to remove post-transfer residual toner remaining on an image carrying member. The collecting roller is configured to cause the post-transfer residual toner adhering to the first cleaning brush to electrostatically adhere thereto, is made of metal, and has a surface roughness Ra of at least approximately 0.08 micrometers. The blade is configured to come into contact with the collecting roller and mechanically remove the post-transfer residual toner adhering to the collecting roller.
