The liquid crystal driver executes a first scanning operation over the display surface and a second scanning operation over the display surface after the first scanning operation, and the first scanning operation is executed in a shorter period than the second scanning operation.

    摘要: A liquid crystal drive unit performs overdrive processing such that when driving a liquid crystal panel so as to increase a brightness toward a target brightness determined by a left-eye video signal or a right-eye video signal, the liquid crystal drive unit drives the liquid crystal panel in accordance with a drive amount corresponding to a brightness of not less than the target brightness and, when driving the liquid crystal panel so as to reduce the brightness toward the target brightness, the liquid crystal drive unit drives the liquid crystal panel in accordance with a drive amount corresponding to a brightness of not more than the target brightness. In the overdrive processing, the drive amount corresponding to the same target brightness differs depending on a scanning position on a display screen of the liquid crystal panel.
