    摘要: An inkjet recording medium having a recording layer including a pigment and a polyvinyl alcohol on an air-permeable support, wherein inkjet recording medium is made by coating a treatment solution on the recording layer, wherein the treatment solution has the action of solidifying the polyvinyl alcohol in the recording layer when it is in the wet state, and then bringing the recording layer into pressure contact with a heated mirror surface while it is still wet. This treatment solution is a mixed solution of borate/boric acid, wherein the blending ratio of the borate and boric acid in the treatment solution is 0.25/1 to 2/1 by weight ratio.

    摘要: A vehicular meter unit includes an analog meter fixed only to a circuit board. A pointer connected to a shaft of the analog meter points a scale printed on a dial plate. A housing has a top plate and a peripheral wall perpendicularly extending from a periphery of the top plate. The dial plate is connected to the top plate without using screws. This arrangement improves the productivity and the luminance characteristic of the vehicular meter unit and suppresses the influence due to the thermal deformation of the dial plate.

    摘要: An illuminating device, for illuminating display designed parts on a display panel, includes at least one light source arranged at a rear side of the display panel, and a light guide body having a light guide portion for guiding the light toward its outer-circumferential portion to output the light toward the display designed parts through a front surface of the light guide portion. The outer-circumferential portion has an outer-circumferential side wall surface at is outer end. The light guide portion has at least one projecting portion projecting from the outer-circumferential side wall surface. The projecting portion is provided with a reflecting side surface formed along the outer-circumferential side wall surface so that the reflecting side surface can reflect the light traveling in the light guide portion to be outputted through the front surface of the light guide portion.

    摘要: A ship construction comprises a symmetrical hull having two screw propellers which are symmetrically arranged in respect to the longitudinal central plane of the hull. A rudder is mounted aft of the screw propellers and preferably in the central plane. The propellers and the rudder are so dimensioned that the diameter of each propeller is less than the spacing between the center lines of the two propeller shafts. In addition, the distance between the axes of the propellers is equal to or less than the diameter of each propeller plus the thickness of the rudder. The arrangement provides an improved propulsive efficiency without loss in maneuverability.
