摘要: An ice thermal storage apparatus that uses ice as a thermal storage material, wherein without using a brine that is a heat transfer medium for chilling water to form ice, a thermal storage material in the form of an aqueous solution to which an additive is added so that supercooling can be secured stably is supercooled to the freezing point or below directly by a refrigerating apparatus, the supercooled aqueous solution is made into ice in the form of sherbet by a desupercooling apparatus over a thermal storage tank, and the remaining thermal storage material having the freezing temperature that has not been made into ice is sent again into the refrigerating apparatus to form a cycle so that ice can be formed in the thermal storage tank continuously.

摘要: A compressor and a refrigerating machine which enable an easy disposal of a lubricant, are friendly to the natural environment, and have simple configurations, are provided.The compressor which is used in a refrigerating machine including an evaporator and a condenser and adapted for compressing refrigerant gas evaporated in the evaporator to convey the compressed refrigerant gas to the condenser, includes: a motor; a housing having a compression chamber inside; a rotary member which has a rotating shaft and is rotated by a driving force of the motor so as to compress water vapor serving as the refrigerant gas in the compression chamber; a bearing for supporting the rotating shaft of the rotary member in the housing; and a lubricant supplier for supplying water serving as a lubricant to the bearing.

摘要: In the condenser provided with two of the degassing chambers separated by a cooling fluid, communication between the degassing chambers is prevented even if a pressure difference is increased between the degassing chambers. The condenser has the housing having the vapor inflow port connectable to the discharge portion of the compressor, the first degassing chamber, in the housing, communicating with the vapor inflow port, and the second degassing chamber, in the housing, arranged above the first degassing chamber across the partition portion, and the passing portion for permitting a cooling fluid to flow from the second degassing chamber to the first degassing chamber, wherein the first degassing chamber is separated from the second degassing chamber by the cooling fluid in the passing portion, and the passing portion has a pressure head space for containing a specified volume of cooling fluid so as to absorb a variation in a pressure difference between the first degassing chamber and the second degassing chamber.

摘要: A heat and mass transfer device for transmitting heat between a fluid flowing within a pipe and a solution flowing on the outside of the pipe. The device comprises at least one vertically upright tubular pipe and a U-shaped folded metal fin strip twisted helically around the periphery of the pipe. The spacing of the fins on the pipe is such that a pulsating flow of the solution flowing on the outside of the pipe is achieved.

摘要: An improved mass transfer heat exchanger in which heat transmission surfaces are more effectively used and having excellent mass transmission characteristics. Heat transmission pipes are arranged vertically in a tank, extending through a partition board dividing the tank into upper and lower chambers. A solution lead-in pipe supplies a high-density solution to be subjected to heat exchange to the upper chamber, and a pump draws a low-density solution obtained by mass exchange out of the lower chamber and delivers a part thereof to the upper chamber. The upper and lower chambers are communicated through a return pipe which delivers to the lower chamber an intermediate-density solution obtained by mixing the high-density solution and a surplus of the low-density solution in the upper chamber. A vapor lead-in pipe supplies vapor to the lower chamber. The intermediate-density solution flows down the heat transmission pipes, passing through gaps between the partition boards and heat transmission pipes.

摘要: Service life of the compressor is extended. The evaporator is provided with the housing having the suction port connectable to the suction portion of the compressor in order to evaporate at least part of a droplet or misty working fluid in the housing by a suction effect of the compressor through the suction port, comprising a filter installed in the housing, the filter dividing a space in the housing into the first space for generating the droplet or misty working fluid and the second space for communicating with the suction port, the filter being inclined away from the suction port as advancing upward, and the filter transmitting therethrough vapor resulting from evaporation of the droplet or misty working fluid while capturing the droplet or misty working fluid.

摘要: A steam generating and condensing apparatus having a steam generating chamber in which a diluted solution flowing from an absorption device and containing a refrigerant absorbed therein flows outside of the pipes of a steam generating heat exchanger to evaporate the refrigerant from the diluted solution with a hot fluid flowing through the pipes of the steam generating heat exchanger, and a steam condensing chamber in which the refrigerant steam supplied through a partition from the steam generating chamber is condensed by a steam condensing heat exchanger. A double-cylinder assembly is provided composed of outer and inner cylinders, with the inner cylinder being divided by a dispersing end plate into upper and lower chambers serving as a dispersing diluted solution chamber and the steam generating chamber, respectively. The inner and outer cylinders jointly define a space in which the steam condensing chamber is disposed. The partition has eliminators on an upper portion thereof. The dispersing diluted solution pool is provided with a diluted solution inlet pipe. The steam generating chamber has a concentrated solution outlet pipe in a lower portion thereof.
