摘要: A liquid ejection device includes: a move control unit configured to move any one of a first element and a second element in a main-scanning direction and a sub-scanning direction orthogonal to the main-scanning direction, the first element including a plurality of ejectors to eject active energy ray curable liquid and an active energy ray irradiator, the second element including an object to which the liquid is ejected; and a control unit configured to perform control to cause a first ejector to eject a first ejection amount of liquid, cure the first ejection amount of liquid, cause a second ejector to eject a second ejection amount of liquid onto the cured first ejection amount of liquid, and cure the second ejection amount of liquid. The first ejection amount and the second ejection amount are different from each other.

摘要: A liquid discharge apparatus includes a liquid discharge head, an irradiator, a carriage, and a conveyance controller. The liquid discharge head discharges liquid to a recording medium to form a liquid application surface. The irradiator emits active energy rays toward the liquid application surface. The carriage is mounted with the liquid discharge head and the irradiator. The conveyance controller conveys the carriage. The irradiator includes a first irradiator that is provided on one side surface of the carriage in a direction in which the carriage is conveyed and a second irradiator that is provided on another side surface of the carriage in the direction in which the carriage is conveyed. A position of the first irradiator and a position of the second irradiator in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the carriage is conveyed, on irradiation of the active energy rays, are different from each other.

摘要: An ejecting apparatus includes an ejection control unit configured to cause a first ejecting unit among ejecting units (301) configured to move in a main-scanning direction, to eject a liquid; an irradiating unit (400) divided into a plurality of irradiating blocks (401) in a sub-scanning direction; an irradiation control unit configured to turn off an irradiating block corresponding to the first ejecting unit. A first distance (Y) between a downstream end of the first ejecting unit in the sub-scanning direction and an upstream end of an irradiating block is larger than a second distance (C) by which the irradiating block irradiates a recording medium outside from an end of an emission surface of the irradiator block in the sub-scanning direction. The irradiation control unit is configured to cure the liquid by causing the irradiating block positioned downstream of the turned-off irradiating block corresponding to the first ejecting unit, to emit the activation energy ray.
