    摘要: The present invention relates to Digital Television (DTV) controlled by a 3-Dimensional (3-D) pointing device, including a receiving unit configured to receive an operation signal generated by a manipulation for the 3-D pointing device; a display configured to display a movable indicator and at least one pop-up object selectable by the indicator when the operation signal is received; and a controller configured to generate a control signal corresponding to the received operation signal and to make the indicator disappear from the display if the operation signal is not received during a preset first time. According to the present invention, the 3-D pointing device may not transmit an operation signal if the 3-D pointing device is not manipulated during a set time. Accordingly, the period for which the power source of the 3-D pointing device is used can be increased by optimizing the consumption of the power source of the 3-D pointing device.
