A range of a tempo in which a tempo of music is matched with a tempo of the motion of the user is determined as a range of a preferred tempo of the user. Pieces of music to be recommended for the user are selected based on the determined range of the tempo. Thus, it is possible to accurately recommend pieces of music suitable for the taste of the user without an additional input for generating a recommendation list by the user.
