摘要: The invention provides an ultra-scalable supercomputer based on MPU architecture in achieving the well-balanced performance of hundreds of TFLOPS or PFLOPS range in applications. The supercomputer system design includes the interconnect topology and its corresponding routing strategies, the communication subsystem design and implementation, the software and hardware schematic implementations. The supercomputer comprises a plurality of processing nodes powering the parallel processing and Axon nodes connecting computing nodes while implementing the external interconnections. The interconnect topology can be based on MPU architecture and the communication routing logic as required by switching logics is implemented in the FPGA chips while some modular designs for accelerating particular traffic patterns from applications and meliorating the communication overhead are able to be deployed as well.

摘要: The present invention provides a class of networks by systematically interlacing bypass links to torus or mesh networks, resulting in networks called interlaced bypass torus (iBT) networks. The iBT network is a d-dimensional mesh-like network (d≧2) at which only two more bypass links are added to each of these processing elements (or node) in the original torus or mesh network. It can be conveniently adopted to the interconnection networks of parallel computers and the interconnection networks of storage systems. The parallel computer system integrates a plurality of processing elements in which each element performs data processing and message switching with other elements. The storage system integrates a plurality of storage elements in which each element facilities data access: write and read. These aforesaid parallel systems with elements interconnected as the novel iBT networks are wholly defined as an iBT-based parallel processing system and the storage systems are defined as iBT-based parallel storage system.

摘要: The present invention provides a mixed torus and hypercube multi-rank tensor expansion method which can be applied to the communication subsystem of a parallel processing system. The said expansion method is based on the conventional torus and hypercube topologies. A mixed torus and hypercube multi-rank tensor expansion interconnection network is built up by means of supernodes equipped with expansion interfaces. This method not only provides more bisection bandwidth to the entire system but also improves the long-range communication and global operations. Affirmatively, this expansion method can achieve better scalability and flexibility for the parallel system for a given system size.

摘要: A backpack with quick deploying body armor includes a backpack having a front compartment and rear compartment which has an opening on the top of the backpack; the opening can be closed by a flap which has open and closed positions; the flap can be locked to the top of the backpack. A rear ballistic panel is attached to the vertical face of the rear compartment. A front ballistic panel module has two connecting straps connecting to the bottom face of the rear compartment and two pulling straps. The front ballistic panel module has a storage position and deployed position. In the storage to position, the front ballistic panel is in the rear compartment and the pulling straps are attached to the shoulder straps of the backpack. In the deployed position, the front ballistic panel is out of the rear compartment and the pulling strap is fastened to the body of the wearer by connecting the end of the pulling strap.
