摘要： A liquid crystal display device having a pair of electrodes at least one of which is transparent and a composite film which is placed between the pair of electrode and contains a low molecular weight liquid crystal, a side-chain type polymer liquid crystal having a backbone of polyoxetane and a mesogen group in a side chain, and an electrolyte, which composite film has a self-supporting property and prevents formation of a short-circuit between the-electrodes.
