摘要: A magnetic recording medium is coated, over its magnetic layer, with a thin film of a siloxane-linkage-containing polymer. The magnetic layer consists of a thin film formed by vacuum evaporation or sputtering or by dispersion of a ferromagnetic metal powder in a binder. The polymer having the siloxane linkage is prepared by polymerizing an organo-silicon compound which either inherently possesses the linkage or is capable of producing it. The polymerization is preferably effected by the plasma polymerization technique.

摘要: To enable a sheet to be folded in an accurate position with a simplified folding mechanism in performing folding processing on the sheet with a pair of folding rollers, a second transport path is disposed in a direction for crossing a first transport path for guiding a sheet from a carry-in portion to a carrying-out portion, and in the cross portion are disposed a folding roller pair for performing folding processing on a sheet, and a folding deflecting member for inserting a fold of the sheet in the nip portion. Then, the folding deflecting member is comprised of a driven roller that comes into press-contact with a roller periphery of the folding roller pair, and a shift member for shifting the driven roller from a waiting position to an actuation position, and by the operation of shifting the driven roller from the waiting position outside the path to the actuation position, the sheet front end portion is fed to the nip portion from an upstream-side guide path formed in the second transport path. At this point, the shift velocity of the driven roller is made higher than the velocity of the sheet sent from the first transport path.

摘要: A parking assist apparatus for guiding a vehicle to a target parking position includes an initial position guiding unit configured to generate an initial position guiding path at a predetermined timing, the initial position guiding path leading from a current position of the vehicle to an initial position where vehicle guidance to the target parking position is started. The initial position guiding unit is also configured to guide the vehicle along the initial position guiding path to the initial position. The apparatus also includes an obstacle detecting unit configured to detect an obstacle around the vehicle. When the obstacle detected by the obstacle detecting unit is located along the initial position guiding path, the initial position guiding unit generates the initial position guiding path such that the obstacle detected by the obstacle detecting unit can be avoided.

A memory continuously holds target parking position information even after the cancellation condition is established.

摘要: A parking assist device includes a leading path generation judging device for judging whether an effective leading path to a target parking position is generated. According to the parking assist device, a parking assist for leading a vehicle to the target parking position is conducted in accordance with a judged result of the leading path generation judging device. The leading path generation judging device includes a first judging device for judging whether the leading path is generated when an initial steering angle of the vehicle is determined as a steering angle initial value, and a second judging device for judging whether the leading path is generated when a steering angle other than the initial steering angle is determined as the steering angle initial value in case it is judged that the leading path is not generated by the first judging device.
