    摘要: The present invention is intended to facilitate the replacement of printing types and to eliminate mistakes in the replacement thereof. A printing type wheel 2 and a stock wheel 3 are coaxially arranged. The printing type wheel 2 is provided with an attachment part for inserting and attaching a printing type unit 5 for printing on an object F to be printed. The printing type unit 5 is detachably stocked in the stock wheel 3. The printing type unit 5 is taken out from the stock wheel 3 with a robot 6 so as to be attached on the printing type wheel 2. Ink is deposited to the printing type unit 5 attached on the printing type wheel 2 with an ink roller 45. The printing type wheel 5, the stock wheel 3 and the ink roller 45 are warmed with the heater 30 and the heater 46.

    摘要: When an encoder (30) detects stopping of feeding of a print medium (50), a control unit (40) moves the position of a print head in a feed direction (Y direction) of the print medium (50) by a predetermined distance corresponding to deviation caused when printing is resumed. When the encoder (30) detects resumption of feeding of the print medium (50), the control unit (40) causes the print head to eject ink at a position to which the print head is moved in the feed direction, thereby resuming printing.

    摘要: A printer comprises a platen roller (22), a print head (12) that ejects ink from nozzle holes to a print medium held by the platen roller (22), a maintenance mechanism (13) that cleans the print head (12), and an ejected ink receptacle (18) that absorbs and holds ink ejected and discarded from the print head (12) by the spit operation. The ejected ink receptacle (18) is placed on the side of the platen roller (22) opposite to the side where the maintenance mechanism (13) exists. The ejected ink receptacle (18) comprises a replaceably provided absorbent pad. When the print operation temporarily halts, the print head (12) moves to a position where it opposes the ejected ink receptacle (18) and performs the spit operation for ejecting and discarding ink inside the nozzle.

    摘要: A dot printer not using any type, nor requiring any ink ribbon has an ink roller 1, a platen 2 having an outer surface coated with ink by contacting the ink roller 1, and a printing head 3 facing the platen 2 in an appropriately spaced apart relation thereto. The printing head 3 is a dot impact type printing head having a plurality of printing wires caused to project selectively to form letters, and a recording medium 6 is conveyed between the platen 2 and the printing head 3 to have printing made thereon by the printing head 3. A protective film 8 is employed between the printing head 3 and the recording medium 6.

    摘要: The present invention is directed toward a printer having a ribbon guide capable of reflecting light emitted from a paper detection sensor away from the paper detection sensor in the absence of a printing paper. As a result, the possibility of erroneous recognition of paper detection is eliminated. There are provided a print head 1, a ribbon guide 3 attached to the print head, and a reflection-type paper detection sensor 4 arranged on a side of the platen in a manner opposed to a printing paper P passing between the platen and the ribbon guide 3 to emit light for detecting the printing paper. The ribbon guide 3 is formed with sloped surfaces 3b and 3d that are inclined relative to a surface of a printing paper P to reflect the light emitted from the paper detection sensor 4 toward a position away from the paper detection sensor.
