    摘要: It is intended to provide a method capable of simply aggregating magnetic particles having a surface modified with a thermoresponsive polymer at a given temperature without heating or cooling an aqueous solution containing the magnetic particles, and a separation method and a detection method of a substance to be detected in a sample using the method. The method of separating a substance to be detected from a sample includes the steps of: mixing an adsorbent and the sample in an aqueous solution to adsorb the substance to be detected on the adsorbent, aggregating the adsorbent by changing a salt concentration in the aqueous solution; and collecting the adsorbent from the aqueous solution by a magnetic force, wherein said adsorbent comprises a magnetic particle of an average particle size of 50 to 1000 nm, a surface of which is modified with a thermoresponsive polymer and is immobilized with a substance having an affinity for the substance to be detected.

    摘要: An actuator includes a movable body including a cylindrical magnet portion, an immovable body including pole tooth faces and a coil, and a torsion coil spring supporting a movable body to the immovable body. The coil receives an alternating current of a frequency substantially equal to a resonance frequency of the movable body and excites the pole tooth faces to have alternately different polarities in the circumferential direction. One end of the torsion coil spring is fixed to one end of a rotary shaft of the movable body and other end is fixed to the immovable body. The torsion direction of the torsion coil spring is arranged to be coaxial with the rotary shaft. The torsion coil spring supports the movable body to enable the movable body to vibrate at the resonance frequency of the movable body.

The rotor is rotatably disposed in an electric rotating machine with a circumferential surface of the rotor core facing a stator. At least one of the end plates is configured to have through-holes, each of which is formed so as to axially penetrate the end plate, and a pressing portion that is radially positioned on the stator side of the through-holes. The pressing portion abuts a corresponding one of the axial end faces of the rotor core and exerts an axial load on the corresponding axial end face of the rotor core by an elastic force of the end plate.

    摘要: Disclosed is an actuator that realizes reciprocal rotational motion of an electric toothbrush, for example, without utilizing a drive transmission mechanism that is separate from the drive source. In the actuator, a fixed body (120) has a coil (128) that is disposed around a magnet (160) and faces the magnetic planes with different polarities within the magnet (160) at individual prescribed distances, and an outer yoke (150) that covers the outer periphery of the coil (128). The fixed body (120) rotatably supports a movable body (110), which holds the magnet (160), via a coil spring that is an elastic member (130) made from a wire. An alternating current supplying part (140) supplies an alternating current having roughly the same resonance frequency as that of the fixed body (120) to the coil (128) to cause the movable body (110) to vibrate in a reciprocal rotational motion. The coil spring that is the elastic member (130) uniformly disperses stress generated by the vibration.
