摘要： A seat slide device for a vehicle includes a lower rail, an upper rail and a shoe. The shoe includes a base portion attached to an engaging portion of one of the rails and a slide portion slidable along an engaged portion of the other rail. The slide portion and the base portion are integrally formed with one another. The slide portion contacts the base portion when a load equal to or greater than a predetermined load is applied, and the base portion has a surface possessing a shape which increases the contact area with the slide portion when the load increases.

摘要： A seat back reclining mechanism for a vehicle seat includes an upper and lower brackets respectively secured to the seat back and the seat cushion. A reduction gear mechanism is provided between the upper and lower brackets for a stepless adjustment of the reclining angle. An actuating knob is located at one side of the seat cushion for the convenience of operation. A belt-sprocket type motion transmitting mechanism is provided between the actuating knob and the reduction gear mechanism for transmitting a rotation of the knob to the gear mechanism. In order to prevent the seat back from being inclined under the load applied by the passenger, a constraining device is provided for preventing the motion transmitting mechanism from transmitting the force from the reduction gear mechanism.

摘要： In a seat sliding device, an upper rail slidably moveable relative a lower rail interlocks with the lower rail upon movement of the upper rail away from the lower rail. An upwardly inclined portion and a downwardly inclined portion can be provided on the upper rail and the lower rails, respectively. A spacer element is provided between the upwardly inclined portion of the upper rail and a corner of the lower rail. The inclined portions and the spacer elements interlock upon movement of the upper rail away from the lower rail. Due to sufficient area being provided between the interlocking portions, separation of the upper rail from the lower rail can be prevented.

摘要： A vehicle seat adjustment apparatus includes a height control device and an inclination control device mounted on a seat frame for independently adjusting the height and inclination of a vehicle seat. A support base slidably supports a seat in a forward and a rearward direction. The seat frame means is mounted on the support base for supporting the seat. A rear portion of the seat is pivotally attached to the seat. A plurality of links pivotally connect the seat frame to the support base for raising and lowering the seat frame relative to the support base to adjust the height of the seat. The plurality of links include a control link, which is rotatably mounted on the seat frame. The height control device is connected to the control link and holds the plurality of links in a selected pivotal position. The height control device is operative to rotate the control link in a first direction to raise the seat and to rotate the control link opposite the first direction to lower the seat. The inclination control device includes a gear rotatably mounted on the seat frame and a member operatively connecting the gear and the forward portion of the seat, such that rotation of the gear pivots the seat about the pivot point along the rear portion of the seat to regulate the inclination of the seat.
