The light sources are mounted on the bottom frame. The light-premixing unit is located above the bottom frame. The light-premixing unit includes a first diffuser. The light-mixing unit is located at a distance above the light-premixing unit. The light-mixing unit includes a second diffuser. The backlight module can effectively reduce the thickness of and meet the slim-line requirement of the LCD.

By combining the T-shape hook of the upper frame and the corresponding groove of the lower frame, the components of the backlight module, such as the linear light source, the light source fixer, the light guide, the upper diffusing plate, the reflective plate, the lower diffusing plate, and the prism plate can be well assembled. Therefore, an improved positioning and fixing efficacy is provided.

    摘要： A side fixing frame for a liquid crystal display device is provided. The side fixing frame has a U-shaped configuration and is provided with multiple engaging elements. The engaging elements of the side fixing frame couple with corresponding counterparts of a supporting frame used in a liquid crystal display device so as to fasten the side fixing frame with the supporting frame. Because of the U-shaped configuration design of the side fixing frame, the frame can attain the desired securing strength and reduce the materials needed for producing the side fixing frame and the production cost.
