    摘要: The invention aims at reducing the circuit size while maintaining the creation of a predictive image suitable for the intra prediction based on a pipeline processing. The encoding device is operated to perform intra prediction in blocks of pixels resulting from division of a frame of a moving image has a pseudo-local-decode-image-creation module for simply encoding an original image, and an intra prediction module for using the created pseudo local decode image to select an intra prediction mode. In the intra prediction based on pipeline processing, the pipeline stage for selecting an intra prediction mode and the pipeline stage for creating predictive image data according to the selected intra prediction mode are separated.

    摘要: In methods in which coding is performed by switching, per area, between a predicted image generated by an existing coding standard and an image newly generated by performing motion estimation between decoded images, it is necessary to further provide determination information as to which image is to be used, which may in some cases result in compression efficiency that is inferior to those of conventional standards depending on the input video. By determining whether a predicted image generated by an existing coding standard is to be used or an image newly generated by performing motion estimation between decoded images is to be used based on coding information within the frame to be coded or within a previously coded frame, the need for such determination information is obviated to improve compression efficiency.

    摘要: A fixing device includes: a rotatable endless belt type fixing member; a pressurizing member that is opposed to the fixing member and rotates; and a nip forming member that is arranged inside the fixing member, and forms a nip part by contact with the pressurizing member through the fixing member. The nip forming member includes: a heat-uniformizing member having bent portions opposed to each other; a heat-insulating member arranged inside the heat-uniformizing member; a heat-absorbing member arranged on an upper surface of the heat-insulating member; and a sliding sheet that covers a nip side of the heat-uniformizing member, and is held between the bent portions of the heat-uniformizing member and the heat-insulating member. The heat-uniformizing member and the heat-insulating member are fastened to each other by fitting a fitting part formed on the heat-uniformizing member to a fitted part formed on the heat-insulating member.
