    Abstract: A computing device includes: a housing configured to receive a supply of print media; a print head supported by the housing; a wireless communications subsystem supported by the housing; a controller supported by the housing, the controller configured to: control the communications subsystem to detect a data collection device; obtain, from the data collection device via the communications subsystem, monitoring data collected by the data collection device indicative of an environmental condition; transmit the monitoring data; receive a command based on the monitoring data; and control the print head to apply indicia to the print media according to the command.

    Abstract: An example disclosed method of receiving first blink data from a first tag, the first tag carried by a wearable location device associated with a monitored individual having a restricted region; determining tag location data based on the first blink data, the tag location data indicative of the monitored individual locations of the monitored individuals; determining if the monitored individual location is within the restricted region; and when the monitored individual location is within the restricted region: identifying a second tag associated with a security person in proximity to the monitored individual location; alerting the security personnel via the second tag as to the monitored individual being located in the restricted region.

    Abstract: An example disclosed method of displaying an image at a venue includes receiving blink data from tags, each of the tags carried by a wearable location device associated with a monitored individual; determining tag location data based on the blink data, the tag location data indicative of locations of the monitored individuals; detecting an occurrence of an event associated with an image; in response to the occurrence of the event: assigning a plurality of the tags a particular color based on the tag location data, the plurality of the tags corresponding to a plurality of the wearable location devices; generating an instruction configured to cause the plurality of the wearable location devices to emit light of the particular color; and transmitting the instruction to the plurality of the plurality of the tags to cause the plurality of the wearable location devices to display the image.
