Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for data processing with structured LDPC codes. The method includes: obtaining a code block size for structured LDPC coding; determining a coding expansion factor z based on at least one of the code block size, a parameter kb of a basic check matrix, a positive integer value p or the basic check matrix having mb rows and nb columns; and encoding a data sequence to be encoded, or decoding a data sequence to be decoded, based on the basic check matrix and the coding expansion factor. The present disclosure is capable of solving the problem in the related art associated with low flexibility in data processing with LDPC coding and improving the flexibility in data processing with LDPC coding.

Abstract: Methods and Apparatus for processing data encoded by low density parity check (LDPC) in a communication system are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method performed by a first node is disclosed. The method comprises: encoding an information bit sequence based on an LDPC coding scheme to obtain an encoded bit sequence; generating a master bit sequence based on the encoded bit sequence; selecting a subset of the master bit sequence according to a rate matching rule to obtain a rate matched bit sequence; interleaving the rate matched bit sequence according to a predetermined index sequence to obtain a to-be-transmitted bit sequence; and transmitting the to-be-transmitted bit sequence to a second node.

Abstract: Described are methods, systems and devices for the transmission and reception of channel quality indicator (CQI) information over an physical channel to facilitate, for example, meeting block error rate requirements in emerging systems. One example method includes transmitting an index associated with a quality of the physical channel, where the index corresponds to an entry in a parameter table set. Another example method includes receiving an index associated with the quality of the downlink physical channel, and transmitting a plurality of data blocks, where contents of the plurality of data blocks are encoded and modulated using a code rate and a modulation scheme, respectively, which are selected from an entry in the parameter tables corresponding to the index. In both exemplary methods, one or more parameter tables include at least three entries comprising code rates having values less than or equal to 120/1024.

A reference information block length of a code block is determined according to an obtained division related parameter. A maximum information block length is determined according to the reference information block length and a hardware parameter. A Transport Block (TB) having a length greater than the maximum information block length may be divided into two or more code blocks according to the obtained division related parameter, the hardware parameter and the determined maximum information block length.
