摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for indicating a modulation coding scheme (MCS) in LTE are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive downlink control information (DCI) from an evolved Node B (eNB) that includes an uplink grant of resources. The DCI may be configured and have a format that conveys an MCS table reference. The UE may identify the MCS table reference and, based on the reference, identify a legacy MCS table or a non-legacy MCS table. The legacy MCS table may be associated with quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) up to a first order, and the non-legacy MCS table may be associated with QAM up to a second order, the second order being higher than the first order. The UE may modulate and code information for uplink transmissions using the identified MCS table.

The first communication device (101) initiates (302) sending of an indicator of said update to a second communication device (102). The message (200) is devoid of the indicator or an indication of any of the first and second mapping (401).

The table selection component is configured to select a selected table from one of the default table and the secondary table. 摘要: A modulation coding scheme (MCS) is selected i) from a first set of MCSs when the PHY data unit is to be transmitted using a first channel bandwidth, and ii) from a second set of MCSs when the PHY data unit is to be transmitted using a second channel bandwidth. The first set of MCSs corresponds to i) a number of spatial streams, and ii) the first channel bandwidth, the second set of MCSs corresponds to i) the number of spatial streams, and ii) the second channel bandwidth. The second set of MCSs excludes one or more MCSs in the first set of MCSs that will result in a padding-related constraint not being met when the second channel bandwidth is to be used. Information bits are encoded according to the selected MCS, and modulated according to the selected MCS.

摘要: A phase-locked loop (PLL) filter of a read channel includes a filter portion having an input coupled to delay circuitry having an output. The input of the filter portion is configured to receive a phase error signal. A look-up table is coupled to the filter portion. The look-up table comprises phase coefficients and frequency coefficients associated with a plurality of phase error magnitudes. The look-up table is configured to provide one or both of a selected phase coefficient and a selected frequency coefficient based on a magnitude of the phase error signal. The PLL filter is configured to adjust a bandwidth of the filter portion using one or both of the selected phase coefficient and the selected frequency coefficient. A phase signal indicative of estimated phase disturbance is produced at the output of the delay circuitry.
