A method and apparatus for managing access network information are provided. The method includes: the dynamic access network information is obtained, and the current access network information list can be updated in real time according to the obtained dynamic access network information, so as to ensure that access network information obtained by a user terminal from the access network information list is latest information updated in real time. Thus, after the user terminal obtains the information, a process of scanning an access network to determine current availability information of the network can be omitted, so that the switching delay can be reduced, the switching efficiency can be improved, and the power consumption of the user terminal can be reduced, thereby improving the satisfaction degree of user experience.
Abstract:
A method for realizing mobility management of an Evolved Packet Core (EPC) network is described. A first control network element addresses a second control network element according to an identification or address information of the second control network element sent from a first Mobility Management Entity (MME), acquires an address of a Public Data Network (PDN) Gateway (PGW) and Tunnel Endpoint Identification (TEID) information of the PGW allocated by the second control network element, and sends to the second control network element an address of a first Serving Gateway (SGW) and TEID information of the first SGW allocated thereby; the first control network element sends to the first SGW flow table information including the address of the PGW and the TEID information of the PGW; and the second control network element sends to the PGW flow table information including the address of the first SGW and the TEID information of the first SGW. A system for realizing mobility management of an EPC network is also described. Coordination problems of two control network elements caused by changes of the control network elements due to a movement of a UE can be solved by the solution of the embodiments of the disclosure.

Disclosed is a method for network charging, which includes: a data centre management network element, upon reception of a charging resource request message from a controller, supports a charging function of a processing network element by a virtual machine and feeding back information of the processing network element to the controller; the data centre management network element sending charging strategy information, user state information and information of UGW to the processing network element, which implements transmission of a traffic flow with the UGW according to the information of UGW, charges for the traffic flow according to the charging strategy information and the user state information, and feeds back charging processing information to the data centre management network element; and the data centre management network element feeding back the charging processing information to the controller. The disclosure further provides a data centre, controller, UGW and system for network charging. Thus the charging service may be implemented for a SDN EPC network.

Disclosed is a charging method and system based on a SDN EPC network, which includes: receiving, by a controller, a charging rule from a charging rule generator, and establishing, through binding, a correspondence between a flow table of the controller and the charging rule; setting, by the controller, entries for the flow table bound to the charging rule, and sending the set flow table to a UGW; and receiving, by the controller, a statistical result, reported from the UGW, regarding traffic and/or duration consumed by a service in the flow table, and charging for the service according to the statistical result and the charging rule bound to the flow table.

Disclosed are a method, device, system for detecting a data link, controller, and gateway. The method comprises: an SDN controller sends a GTP request message to a first UGW, and instructs the first UGW to send the GTP request message to another GTP endpoint in a GTP user plane signaling format; the SDN controller receives a GTP response message from the first UGW, and detects a data link between the first UGW and the another GTP endpoint according to the GTP response message, the GTP response message being corresponding to the GTP request message. The disclosure solves the problem in the prior art that logic of a user plane and logic of a control plane are unclear during detection of a data link between GTP endpoints, thereby improving the clarity of the logic of the user plane and the clarity of the logic of the control plane.

A method and system for routing forwarding are described. The method includes: a controller sends pre-generated routing flow tables to an Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (UTRAN) NodeB (eNB) and an Access Gateway (AGW) respectively; and the eNB and the AGW distribute data according to the received routing flow tables respectively. A controller for routing forwarding is described. According to the disclosure, the controller sends the routing flow tables to the eNB and the AGW, so that the extended OpenFlow protocol can be applied to an Evolved Packet System (EPS), network upgrading cost is lowered, network upgrading can be simplified, and a network upgrading period can be shortened.
