Abstract:
A method and apparatus for communication sharing in a relationship management system is described. The method may include obtaining an electronic communication by a relationship management system and extracting identification data from the electronic communication. Furthermore, the method may include locating a collaborator and a relationship in the extracted identification data, wherein the collaborator and the relationship are participants in a relationship management process. The method may also include determining when the collaborator and the relationship are both members in a communications sharing list that is associated with the relationship management process, and distributing data associated with the electronic communication to collaborator members in the communications sharing list.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for the automatic creation of a relationship management system is described. The method may include receiving a request from a user to create a relationship management system, and receiving specification of one or more electronic communication systems and user access credentials that provide access to each of the corresponding accounts. Furthermore, the method may include obtaining past electronic communications using the received user access credentials and analyzing the past electronic communications to extract contact data. The method may also include creating the relationship management system for the user and adding the contact data as contacts associated with the user in the created relationship management system.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for determining connection strength for users of a relationship management system is described. The method may include receiving a request from a first user of a relationship management system user for a connection strength score associated with a relationship management system account. Furthermore, the method may include determining connection strength scores between each of the plurality of contacts in the account and the organization based on communications exchanged between each of the plurality of contacts with users of the relationship management system. The method may also include selecting a subset of contacts from the account based on the determined connection strength scores, and presenting the selected subset of contacts from the account to the first relationship management system user.
