摘要： A webber for folding a fleece delivered by a card to convert it into a web of different thickness from the fleece comprises a fleece feed system, first and second main carriages provided with rollers carrying two endless guide belts adapted to receive the fleece therebetween and move it along a loop-like path, drive means for linearly reciprocating the main carriages in parallel directions, drive means for moving the guide belts relative to the main carriages, a delivery belt for receiving the fleece leaving the guide belts, and drive means for driving the delivery belt along a linear path substantially perpendicular to the direction of movement of the main carriages. At least one auxiliary carriage is provided and comprises rollers carrying the guide belts, such auxiliary carriage being reciprocated in a direction parallel to the movement of the main carriages.

摘要： A machine for grinding spectacle lenses to fit the spectacle frame, having a lens grinding section and a section for analysing the shape of the frame bezels, which are mechanically independent and so controlled by a remote transmission chain as to cause the motions of the frame and of the lens to be ground to be rigorously identical and synchronous. The frame support is horizontal and quickly removable. The shape of each frame bezel is analysed preferably by movable feeler, the position of which is so controlled that the feeler point is constantly homologous with the grinding point on the lens irrespective of any unevennes in the surface of the bezel. The copying transmission chain for slaving the lens support preferably includes automatically operating calibration or initial setting members.

摘要： A needling device to consolidate a fleece. The device including at least one needle plate with an array of needles; at least one column with its longitudinal axis rigidly connected to the at least one needle plate; drive systems; a sealed housing; and at least one guide pot. The drive systems are configured to impart to the at least one column a to and fro motion so that the needles follow an elliptical path to pass through, in one direction then the other, the fleece that passes in front of it in the machine drive direction to consolidate it. The sealed housing containing part of the column and drive systems and wherein the at least one guide pot is fitted in an opening in the sealed housing and oscillates in relation to an axis of oscillation perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and the machine drive direction.
