    摘要: The present invention relates to tufted goods comprising a greige good having fibers tufted into a primary backing, a precoat which is adhered to the back surface of the greige good, and a flexible film which is laminated to the back surface of the precoat. The flexible film is treated via corona-discharge prior to being laminated to the precoat. This invention also relates to a process for producing tufted goods. This process comprises treating a flexible film via corona-discharge, contacting the treated flexible film with the uncured or partially cured back surface of a precoated greige good, and curing the article. Optional embodiments of this invention include having a foam layer between the precoat and the flexible film, or having a foam layer on the back surface of the flexible film. An alternate embodiment of this invention comprises substituting a foam layer for the precoat.

    摘要: A process for the working up of ammonium sulphate-containing effluent which is contaminated with organic compounds and optionally also ammonium nitrate, comprising evaporating the effluent to produce water vapor which is removed, a concentrated liquid and a crystal suspension, thickening the suspension to obtain solid ammonium sulphate which is removed and liquid which is recycled to an earlier stage, subjecting the concentrated liquid from evaporation to an optional vacuum cooling crystallization to obtain water vapor which is removed and a crystal suspension from which a concentrated liquid is separated off, advancing the concentrated liquid from the evaporation stage or from the vacuum cooling crystallization stage to a crystallizer, introducing ammonia into the crystallizer to decrease the solubility of the ammonium sulphate, thickening the ammoniacal crystal suspension to obtain ammonium sulphate solids which are removed and ammoniacal mother liquor which is advanced to a distillation step for recovery of ammonia.

    摘要: In the production of a solid-free solution of titanyl sulfate by digesting ilmenite or titanium slag with sulfuric acid, and filtering the resulting solid-containing solution of titanyl sulfate to separate the solids, the improvement which comprises filtering the solution under a pressure of about 1 to 16 bars to form a filter cake of a thickness of about 10 to 35 mm. The filter cake is washed with about 0.1 to 0.5 m.sup.3 of water per m.sup.3 of filtrate, the wash water is passed through the filter cake at a flow rate of about 0.1 to 1.2 m/h under a pressure of about 1 to 16 bars, and the filter cake is then squeezed to a solid content of about 50 to 70% by weight.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to double metal cyanide catalysts (“DMC”) which are prepared by combining i) at least one metal salt; ii) at least one metal cyanide salt; iii) at least one organic complexing ligand; iv) at least one alkali metal salt; and, optionally, v) at least one functionalized polymer under conditions sufficient to form a catalyst; and adding a sufficient amount of the at least one alkali metal salt to the catalyst so formed in an amount such that the catalyst includes the at least one alkali metal salt in an amount of from about 0.4 to about 6 wt. % based on the total weight of the catalyst. The polyols produced in the presence of the catalysts of the present invention have reduced levels of high molecular weight tail.
